Seconds flew faster and become minutes, minutes ran until it become hours, and hours until it become days, days to weeks, weeks to months. Sa sobrang bilis ay pakiramdam ko kinse minutos lang ang nagamit kong oras.
Holding my diploma, and wearing a black magnificent toga, tears started to formed on my eyes as I can feel the payback of all my hardworks and sacrifices.
I smiled when I saw Clark running towards me. I immediately crouched and replaced to his neck the garlan I am wearing. Pagkatapos ay pinahawak ko rin sa kanya ang diploma ko.
"This is all for you, baby," I genuinely smiled with a tears at the verge of my eyes.
He smiled at me and gently putted a soft kiss on my cheeks before he climbed up to me. Natatawa ko siyang kinarga sa kabila ng kabigatan niya. My baby boy is already 2 years old, and swear, he grew up fast!
And I can't deny it, he reciprocated his father's appearance. From his face to the way he moves. Lance na Lance talaga.
"Congratulations our Havannah!" Nakangiting bati sa akin ni Papa na ngayon ay nakaakbay kay Mama.
I smiled, "Thank you, this is all because of your unending supports and love. Sobrang thank you talaga, Mama, Papa, Kuya Harvey and ofcourse, cute Hannah,"
"Syempre! One for all, all for one kaya tayo!" Hannah trailed off.
I smiled more when they all step closer to me and we hugged as one family with Clark on the middle of us. Tears again ran down my cheeks because of so much happiness.
At last, naabot ko rin!
It was never easy, it's indeed a tough road. Lalo pa at sinasabay ko ang pagiging ina sa pagiging estudyante.
Nagpapadede habang nag-aaral? Nagpapatulog habang nagrereview? Sleepless nights? I experienced many more of that. Sobrang hirap, sobrang nakakapagod. Actually, my mass lowered as I go through this last year of my college life. Hindi naging madali, pero para sa anak ko na naging inspirasyon ko ay kinaya ko.
Now I could understand why most of the parents want their children to finish school first before having a baby nor a new family. Kasi hindi talaga madali maging ina habang nag-aaral ka pa. Pero dahil nariyan na yan si Clark, pinanindigan ko. At nakaya ko. Sa tulong ng panginoon at ng pamilya ko.
"So ano? Tara, time to celebrate!" Kuya Harvey greeted lively.
We went back to Kuya Harvey's house and started the celebration. Maghahapon na nang nagkaroon ng salo salo at inimbita rin namin ang mga malapit na kapitbahay dito sa States.
Nasa kuwarto ako at nagbibihis. I stared myself on the mirror and smiled. My body becomes skinner, but it's not that bad. I just think I became sexier when I become a mom. I chuckles as I combed my hair. Kung noon ay hanggang balikat lang ito, ngayon ay humaba na ito hanggang sa beywang ko. I colored it to blonde that defined well it's curly ends.
Natigil ako nang bumukas ang pintuan at nakita ko si Clark na papalapit sa akin.
"Hey baby, come here,"
I sat at the edge of the bed and held his cheeks.
"Mommy, let's go outside na daw sabi po ni Momma,"
I chuckles and nodded, "Okay, just give me a minute. Can I hug my baby?"
He smiled widely and opened his arms, "Sure po mommy!"
Natatawa kong yinakap ang anak ko. I am so grateful that he came to my life. Although his father cause a lot of pain on me, I'm still thankful that because of that stupid love, I have my son now. He's my everything, Clark is my life now.
"Whatever happens just always remember that mommy loves you so much, alright?"
He giggled and nodded. "Clark loves you too, Mom!"
Saglit ko pa siyang yinakap bago kami sabay na lumabas ng kuwarto. Masaya kong kinakarga si Clark habang hinaharap ang mga bisita, ang anak ko rin ay malaki ang ngiti na siyang ikinagiliwan ng mga nakakakita nito.
"Hi Havannah! Oh and you're with cutie Clarky!" Jennisa, one of my friend here in States.
I laughed as she carries Clark and ranted that my son is heavy.
"I told you, he's heavy!" I chuckles.
She smiled and pinched the cheeks of my son, "But he's cute, I wonder if my daughter soon and Clark would fit perfectly!"
I laughed, "Oh Jennisa, you're impossible! You don't even have boyfriend yet!"
She groaned as she looks at me. Natatawa naman ako dahil napipikon siya.
"But I have sex life, unlike you? How many years you're dry already!"
Ako naman ang natahimik sa asar niya kaya tuwang tuwa naman ito.
"Anyways, congratulations my friend! Job well done! If ever you'll came back to Philippines, I'll go with you okay? I want to travel Philippines.... I also want to meet Clark's father!"
Agad kong natutop ang bibig niya. Mabuti nalang talaga at tumakbo na si Clark patungo sa Lola niya at hindi niya iyon narinig.
"Thank you Jennisa, but you're so loud!"
"What? Clark is handsome! I wonder how much more his dad!"
I groaned, "And? Don't tell me you will flirt with him? I'm telling you, you're not a perfect match,"
She laughed, "And now you sound like a jealous wife."
"What?! I'm not!" I defended.
She just laughed at me and bugged me again about going to Philippines. Todo iba naman ako ng topic, dahil sa totoo lang, hindi ko alam kung ano ba dapat ang gagawin ko. Handa naba akong bumalik doon? Handa na kaya akong makita siyang muli?
I am really fully healed and moved on? Kung makita ko ba siya ngayon ay hindi na ako masasaktan?
Marami pa rin akong tanong sa isipan ko kaya hindi ko alam kung handa na ba akong bumalik ng Pilipinas. Hindi ko rin alam ang gagawin ko kung sakaling magtagpo sila ng anak namin. I don't know if I will able to let him knew that he has a son on me. I still don't know what are the right things to do.
Dapat bang makilala niya pa si Clark?
