Chapter Ten

"Bakugo. Yell one more time and I swear I'll bite your vocal cords off." I say through clenched teeth as I look at the boy wiggling in the seat in front of us.
"YOU SHUT UP, TOO!" The blond turns to me and I give him the most icy look I've ever given anyone.

"If Shoto wakes up because of you, you'll have a bad five minutes!" I threaten him by pointing my finger at his chest.
"Tch. You really do anything for your little boyfriend."
I feel my cheeks turn red, and his statement leaves me no time to retort.

I watch as Shoto with his head resting on my shoulder sleeps blissfully.
A few strands of hair fall in front of his eyes, hiding part of his face.
I smile slightly to see him so relaxed. This is something that happens very rarely so I am glad.

"We're almost there. Start getting ready." Aizawa informs us.
I start shaking the sleeping boy lightly on me to wake him up.
"Sho. Wake up. We're almost there."
I see him squint a little, a sign that he is waking up.

He opens his eyes slightly and then looks up at me.
"Good morning. Did you sleep well?"
He nods before pulling himself up and stretching.
I stretch, too, by the numb arm where the boy slept until just now.
"Sorry. I leaned in without even noticing." Shoto apologizes
"It's okay. I'm glad you were able to get some sleep."

I give him a smile and see him nod and blush slightly.
Iida announces that we have arrived so we all get off at the bus.
And the place is really huge.
"Wow. It really is the U.S.J." I say as I slowly turn around to admire the whole building.

I keep looking around as the space hero explains some details of what we are going to do today.
I notice that Denki is also getting distracted by the place so very slowly I approach him.

"It's amazing isn't it?" I ask him jumping slightly.
"Yes. And it's much bigger than I imagined. I wonder what we are going to do today." He tells me, resting an arm on my shoulder.
"I think he's explaining it now."
"Ah. Have you been listening?" He asks, lowering his gaze on me.

"No. You?"
"Not at all."
With that said he raises his fist toward me and I do the same.
He puts his arm back on my shoulder as I stand with my arms crossed continuing to stare at No. 13 trying to figure it out.

"That's it! Thank you for listening to me with such passion and patience!" Says the space hero addressing the class.
Kaminari and I look at each other with worried faces having followed nothing.
"I'll go ask Shoto and then come back to you."
The blond boy nods.
"Thank you..."

"STAY CLOSE AND DON'T MOVE."
Professor Aizawa suddenly shouts toward us and I see the panic in his eyes.
Huh?
Is this part of today's lesson?
"NO. 13 YOU TAKE CARE OF THE KIDS! YOU GUYS DON'T MOVE. THESE ARE CRIMINALS!"

The moment I realize that this is not a drill, I immediately turn to look for Shoto with my eyes.
As soon as our gazes meet, I immediately move toward him.
"Stay close to me, okay?" The boy says to me.
I nod and stand at his side.
This was not what I expected for today.
