"I have a theory!"

When one hears these words from Shoto, there is cause for concern. For several reasons, which I will now explain:
1- They are never well-founded. He makes theories without having any evidence on his side.
2- The stranger they are the more they make sense to him.
3- He becomes obsessed with them.
4- The last time he said that, he assumed that our middle school principal was having an affair with one of our classmate's mothers. And he even had the nerve to go and ask the boy about it.

But that's another story.

"No. Shoto please." I run my hands through my hair, mentally preparing myself for the nonsense he's going to bring up.
"Look, this time it makes sense. I even have proof."
"Like that time about the principal?!"

"And I'm still convinced I'm right. You don't go three times a week to his office and be in there for an hour for a simple teacher-parent interview. But that's not the point." The boy affirms, becoming more and more convinced.
I let my head fall back on my desk.
"Let's hear your theory."
He pulls his chair closer to mine, pulling out his conspiracy notebook.

Yes. He has a notebook in which he keeps his plots and all the "evidence."
He opens it to the offending page where I notice Midoriya's name at the top.
Not another comrade please.

"You must have noticed how Midoriya's power is strong too right?"
I nod and give it my attention.
"WELL! And doesn't that sound familiar?" He asks me getting more and more engrossed in the explanation.
A huge question mark forms on my face. Familiar?
"I wouldn't know, Shoto. Why familiar?"

He turns the page of his notebook before slapping it in my face.
In circled capital letters it says All Might.
"All Might?" I ask him unconvinced.
"EXACTLY. Their quirks are virtually identical, except that Midoriya hurts himself using it. Maybe his body can't handle it, I don't understand that part. BUT THE FACT REMAINS THAT THEY LOOK ALIKE."
"I don't understand what you're getting at Shoto."

"Wait, I'm getting there. Have you noticed how fond the hero is of the boy? He calls him often and they often have lunch together. And he seems to have an eye on him."
"Shoto you have to stop spying on people, and I've already told you to stop with the crime programs."

"HAVEN'T YOU FIGURED IT OUT YET?" He asks as he gets up from his chair and starts walking around the room.
"WHAT IF MIDORIYA IS ALL MIGHT'S SECRET LOVE CHILD?"
At this point he has reached the height of his madness. How long had he been carrying on this theory?

We stand motionless staring at each other for a few seconds.
"Are you serious?"
"ABSOLUTELY AND HERE IS THE PROOF! THE EVIDENCE I TELL YOU!" He starts waving his notebook in front of my face again.

"Even if it were true, why keep it a secret?" I ask him, pulling the notebook out of his hands and sitting him down calmly again.
"We're talking about the number one hero. Maybe he preferred it that way. Maybe it was a one-night stand." He shrugs his shoulders.

"Look Shoto, I don't want to say it's not true, because for once, you might be right..."
His eyes light up at my words.
"BUT, I don't think you should get involved. Please leave things as they are. Now what does it say if we go to practice for the festival? I remind you it's tomorrow."

The boy nods before going to change into the appropriate clothes.
I let out a sigh knowing full well that this will keep him distracted for a short time.

A/N
Totally filler chapter just because I felt like writing this nonsense.
You can't make me believe that Shoto doesn't really have a notebook in which he writes down all his theories.

See you in the next chapter.
