Shoto and I jump up at the same time as the siren continues to sound.
All the students have frightened faces as they look around trying to figure out the problem.
"The third level of security has been breached! Students are requested to evacuate."
I see Ochako, Midoriya and Iida at a table not far from us so I take Shoto's hand and quickly run toward them."What is the third level of security?" I ask turning to Iida.
"It means that someone has infiltrated the academy! This hasn't happened in three years!"
Within seconds panic breaks out.
We also start running toward the exit but soon find ourselves crushed in the middle of a lot of people.Because of my height I am soon dragged by the crowd and almost immediately lose sight of both Shoto and the boys.
I catch sight of a blond head in the distance that I immediately recognize as Kaminari, so I try to catch up with him as much as possible.
I start to push in his direction as well so that I don't find myself alone, but I soon feel an elbow on my right cheekbone coming at me.The pain is excruciating and I immediately bring my hand to the sore spot.
"Mei! Watch out!" Shoto grabs my sleeve and draws me to him.
My back slams against his muscular chest as he circles my waist with one arm.I turn my head slightly toward him with my hand still on my cheekbone, on which a nice bruise must be forming.
His gaze is steady and serious as he tries to protect me from further blows with his body moving forward.
I lightly shake his hand in thanks as I follow him."EVERYONE CALM DOWN... IT'S ALL OK!"
We both look up at the voice and see Iida practically splattered against the wall above the exit door.
All the students stop and look at him.
"IT'S JUST THE MEDIA! THERE'S NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT.
WE'RE AT YUUEI. LET'S BEHAVE LIKE STUDENTS WORTHY OF THE NAME OF THIS ACADEMY."I give Iida a round of applause and put all my passion into it, not even when the plane lands.
"BRAVO IIDA TELL THEM! HERE PEOPLE ELBOW OTHERS WITHOUT RESTRAINT! AND YES I TALK TO YOU BLONDIE!" I say pointing to a boy with blond hair, Shoto-like hair and blue eyes."IT'S NOT MY FAULT I DIDN'T SEE YOU! YOU SEE IF YOU WERE A LITTLE TALLER THERE WOULDN'T BE THE PROBLEM."
The boy replies by crossing his arms over his chest.
The orange-haired girl next to him rolls her eyes and prepares to throw a cup at him.I, in response, pull up the sleeves of my shirt and prepare to unload my anger on him but as soon as I try to take a step, Shoto immediately blocks me by the waist.
"Stay calm."
"I AM CALM!" I shout, trying to wriggle out of his grip with little result.
The boy, also ready to come at me, is being dragged away by his collar by the girl and disappears from my sight shortly after. My best friend lets go of me and I get into a fighting stance in front of him and start throwing small punches at his chest.
"He's lucky you had me otherwise I would have shown him."
I say continuing in my unprofitable attack.Shoto smiles slightly before grabbing both my wrists and bringing them slowly and down my sides.
"I'm sure you will. Let's get back to class now."
And maintaining his usual composure, the boy heads toward our classroom."So in the end Midoriya, you gave way to Iida." I say, putting my backpack on my shoulder.
The green-haired boy looks at me before nodding slightly.
"As I said before, I think he's the best person for the job. He's certainly better than me for that role.""Oh but don't talk nonsense. I bet if you wanted to, you would have done a great job." I say giving him an encouraging smile while bringing both thumbs up.
The boy blushes slightly before thanking me and heading with me and Ochako toward the class exit.A/N
