The Map

Lilli had a very high alcohol tolerance not to mention she had hardly drank anything at the party the night before. So she had escaped without even a hint of a hangover and had made it to class before everybody else.

"Goodmorning" Liam entered the room in a chirpy mood.

"Morning" Lilli beamed back.

"I see we're the only ones who escaped without a hangover" He chuckled plopping down on his seat across the room from Lilli.

"Seems that way" she replied.

"You excited for this lesson" Liam started flicking through the pages of his book.

"One of my favorite spells" Lilli leaned back in her chair.

"Apparently it's quite difficult, some adults can't even cast it" Liam replied looking up from his pages.

"Ye, I hope I can cast it" Lilli smiled innocently.

Something the other students weren't aware off is that the Slytherin group had perfected this charm in third year. Some of them had also perfected an even harder spell that they kept under lock and key. If Lilli wanted to, she could cast the patronus spell without even speaking.

The rest of the class finally arrived along with Professor Flitwick.

"I will go around the class one by one and ask you to try and produce your protronus" Flitwick announced. "Seamus, could you go first".

Seamus stood up and closed his eyes. He thought hard about a good memory and slowly a small blue light appeared. Unfortunately nothing else was produced. He looked at his wand in disappointment and sat back down silently.

"Draco" The professor motioned for the blonde boy to take his turn.

Draco stood up and glanced at the other group members. He pretended to think for a minute before shouting the charm and producing a beautiful dragon out of his wand. He watched it fly around proudly before sitting back down.

Pansy was next, she did the same as Draco and produced her elegant flamingo which took a few steps around the room flicking it's head around looking at everyone.

Astoria produced a black cat which ran around the top of everybody's desks.

Blaise produced a black panther that prowled up and down the room before disappearing.

Theo produced a Lynx which hopped around playfully.

Mattheos turn came and Lilli watched expectantly. She imagined he would probably have a lion or something else that was large and powerful but instead he produced a beautiful Raven. Mysterious and intelligent. Unlike the other Protronus animals the raven didn't leave his side, it sat on his shoulder and looked around judgingly.

Lilli was next she, like the others she pretended to try hard to cast the spell. "Expecto Patronum" she shouted and out of the tip of her wand a magnificent wolf appeared. The wolf wasn't a usual size it was almost the size of a wolf. It had long legs and a huge tail. The wolf bounded around the room and the students stared in awe as it weaved through chairs and tables.

Liams turn eventually came and to everybodys shock he produced a large grizzly bear. The class gasped when the bear appeared, Liam included. It seeme everybody had expected something smaller.
