The smell of Blaises cooking filled their nostrils as they arrived back on camp. "Oh wow, that smells incredible" Theo followed his stomach and disappeared into the kitchen tent.

"Hey Pans" Lilli plopped herself down next to the other girl "hello" Pansy sang chirpily "Good day?" Lilli nudged her "Me and Draco had the most wonderful date, a picnic in the meadow" "That's brilliant Pans" Lilli wrapped her arm around the girl "You'll have to tell me all about it tonight, I have to go grab my book from Enzo".

"Knock, knock" no reply "Enzo, I said knock, knock" no reply "Enz?" no reply "come on tigs" no reply. Worried, Lilli peaked through the tent door. He was in there, sat on the floor rocking back and fourth.

'Shit'.

She didn't burst in, she approached him slowly. "Enzo you're alright bud, it's just me" She dropped down and rubbed his shoulders. "No, no, go away" He sobbed "What's happened" He just shook his head and continued rocking "Enzo, i'm going to ask you something and you gotta answer truthfully, okay?" His voice was shaky but he managed an 'ok' back. "Have you been taking your meds?" she said quietly "I was doing so good, I didn't think I needed them" he choked out before bursting into tears again "I know, I know" she pulled him into a hug and his tears soaked her sweater "relax, I'll get them for you now and you'll feel a bit better okay" She flicked her hand and the bottle flew from the dresser drawer into her hand. She held him in her arms.

The truth was, despite Enzo's incredibly bubbly personality, he was nowhere near happy. Not many people knew, not even his friends but Lilli did.
When Enzo had disappeared for those few months, before Mattheo arrived. He hadn't been on family business like he'd said, he had been in hospital due to an incident very similar to what was happening right now. Lilli had found out by accident when she had been sent to the same hospital thanks to her father and a very broken rib.

Only when Enzo's breathing had calmed and he relaxed in her arms did she feel safe to let him go "How are you feeling?" "Better" he sniffled "please, promise me you'll keep taking them" He nodded "I will, I will, I promise" He smiled "come on, let's get some food" she helped him off the floor and looped their arms so he could balance on her.

"Quite the day, ay?" Blaise chuckled once they'd all sat down. He was taking his role as mom of the group very seriously. "Do we have anything to do tomorrow?" Mattheo shoveled some peas into his mouth "Nothing tomorrow but we're moving camp the day after" Pansy answered "Why?" Mattheo questioned again "Not safe to stay in one spot, besides we need to get closer to the action" Lilli shrugged "Fun" He rolled his eyes "Oi, don't start getting snarky, you're not in our good books yet" Draco slapped his arm, Mattheo mumbled something under his breath but continued eating.

Blaise appeared out of his cooking tent with some oven mits on and a hot tray in his hands "dessert?" he grinned, the group scattered to grab a brownie. They were fresh out of the oven, oozing with warm chocolate. "These are brilliant" Draco stared at the brownies in awe "taste a lil funky though" Theo inspected a little closer "ZABINI YOU DRUGGED US, you cheeky fecker" Theo burst out laughing "thought we all needed to relax" Blaise smirked slyly while popping a brownie in his own mouth.

"Well, I think we should have some fun" Enzo flicked his wand and music began playing "heart of glass, blondie".
They ran by the camp fire and began dancing together. Giggling and grinning Lilli lent over and whispered in Theos ear "Theo I killed my brother" she snorted, he burst out laughing "FINALLY" He screamed over the music.

Lilli noticed Mattheo still sat at the dinning table, she tapped his shoulder "come on pretty boy" She grabbed hold of his arms and made him dance with her "pretty boy?" He blushed "mhm" she spun him around. They danced back to the group.

It was nice, like old times. They laughed and joked, danced and sang. It was like everything bad in the world stopped for just a few moments, just a few. But thats all they needed, all they needed to feel human again. When Lilli did stop for a breather she looked around her friends happy faces.

She worried she'd done the wrong thing taking them with her on this journey, but it didn't take long to shake those feelings "I'm glad you brought us with you, look at us" she paused "a big happy family again" She smiled at the boys dancing together to 'Gimme, gimme, gimme" by abba, an amusing sight. "Everyones here" Pansy pointed toward the black cat sat on Theos shoulder "Everyone" Lilli hugged Pansy "I love you" she placed a hand on Pansys cheek "and remember whatever happens, is meant to happen" She kissed her forhead and walked back into the group.

Mattheo had sat down briefly and was spinning a knife in his hands, as usual.
Theo plopped down beside him.
"Seems you're pretty skilled with your hands, no wonder the girls love you huh" Theo smirked "Are you flirting with me Nott?" Mattheo shoved him gently "I flirt with everyone Riddle" Theo winked "now stop being a baby and come dance with me" Theo dragged him to his feet once again.

Lilli and Mattheo were dancing together when he whispered into her ear "walk?" she nodded and followed him a little ways away from the group, not far at all really, you could still hear and see them clearly.

Have you ever seen Mattheo Riddle smile. Oh merlin it's the purest, prettiest thing you'd ever see. Lilli pushed some hair out of his eyes "You look so pretty in the moonlight" He held her face "I always look pretty" She joked back "just take the compliment" he pushed her jokingly "I missed this" she sighed as they walked "What? being happy?" He scoffed "Pretty much" she chuckled. "Soon we'll all be happy and safe, don't worry" He put an arm around her shoulders "You never used to let me do that" He smirked.
"Well, dare I say, you've grown on me Riddle" She turned and pecked his lips gently "what a plot twist you were". Whenever Mattheo was flustered his pupils dilated an unusual amount.

It's in the eyes, always the eyes.

She sighed and rested her head on Mattheos chest "we shouldn't be this kind of tired at our age" he rubbed her hair, she shook her head.
"We're being watched" she whispered into his chest. Mattheo wasn't dumb, he didn't start frantically looking around for the person and give them both away. He stayed calm and collected, kept his eyes on the top of Lillis head. "Leave now, they're here for me" Lilli ordered "No, I won't" He protested "It's an order, stay within ear shot" he nodded hesitantly and began to walk away.

She sat on the grass verge and waited.
Nothing. After a few minutes she stood up and walked into the forest, alert to all her surroundings. She heard the slightest movement of someone behind her, spinning around she took them to the ground and held her knife to their throat. She tilted her head and smirked.

"Liam, I've been expecting you"
He chuckled "I thought so" She held out a hand and helped him up "Always so polite" he smirked sarcastically "what brings you to my part of the wood?" She raised her brows.
"Look I want to be on your side, you know this. But, but I can't. The Lord sends for you, tomorrow at 1pm" Lilli nodded "I'll be there" He looks around panicked "no one's to know".
Lilli smirked "The moon knows" Liams eyes widened and his lips began to form a smile "The moon knows" he nodded "Now leave, before you're seen" Lilli hugged him and sent him on his way.

He was a traitor, he was sent to kill her, he was on the opposite side. But he was her family at one point and her family he'd stay. She didn't care for grudges.

"The moon?" Mattheo questioned when she returned, Lilli sent him a look "ohhhh, I'm the moon" He hit his forehead "slipped my mind".

"Do you really think it's safe?" He whispered, Lilli sent him a glare "obviously not, but it has to be done, Trust me." She kissed him and disappeared to her tent.

"I'll try" he whispered as she walked away.
