"Thank god it's almost summer, this class is such a bore" Pansy sighed.

"I guess" Lili looked at her feet.
"Sorry I forgot" Pansy sent her a apologetic look.
"It's okay, I'm glad you're excited" Lilli smiled. She was always so positive.
"Why won't you stay at mine or Enzos this summer?" Pansy sat down on the stone wall next to her.

"My parents would go crazy"
"It's only two months" Pansy placed a reassuring hand on her thigh.
"Can't wait to get yelled at it French everyday for the next two months, why can't I have parents like yours" Lillis leg was bouncing and she picked the finger around her thumb. It was clear her humour was just a defence mechanism.
"You're strong, you've survived every other summer so you will survive this one" Pansy hugged her friend.
"I'll probably get to see Draco, they hold lot's of dinners at my house"
"Atleast it's something".

The care of magical creature's class dragged on for what felt like forever. When they where finnaly dismissed they walked toward the lake.
Everyone else was already sat by the large beech tree reading, studying or smoking.

"Hey, how was class?" Theo patted the grass beside him inviting Lilli to sit next to him.

"So fucking boring" Pansy huffed. Pansy sat down beside Draco who was leaning against the tree, he wrapped his arm around her shoulders. "That's why I didn't choose it this year" he shrugged.
"You couldn't even open the book" Astoria laughed at him

"Lovely day isn't it" Blaise lay down in the grass and shut his eyes.
"Thank goodness it's getting warmer" Enzo copied Blaise and lay down next to him.

Astoria looked around the group "Everyone know what they're doing for summer?"
"I'm staying with Enzo" Blaise spoke up
"I'm staying with Pansy" Astoria added
"The rest of us have to stay with our parents" Theo sighed letting his head fall onto Lillis shoulders. She rubbed his hair to comfort him.
"Yup" Draco rolled his eyes.
"We still have two weeks" Pansy tried to sound reassuring.

But two weeks went pretty quickly and before they knew it they where packing their bags.

"You guys almost ready to head down?" Lilli shouted from the bathroom.
"Yep, just zipping up my bag" Astoria shouted back.
"Right, let's go" Pansy headed toward the door.
"Shit the map, almsot forgot" Lilli pulled up her mattress and grabbed the paper. She folded it up and stuffed it into her bra.
"Can't let the trio see it" she laughed.

The girls were the first into the common room and sat on the sofas to wait for the boys.

The boys all entered together some looking much happier then others. Just like Lilli. Mattheo, Draco and Theo were not very happy about going home for two months. Mattheo especially looked much more drained then the others. Theo had a half hearted smile plastered on his face, he always tried to be positive. Lilli couldn't tell if Liam was happy or not. He wasn't smiling but he wasn't frowning, she decided not to ask. His face didn't look very welcoming.

"Right, we better leave" Draco sighed.
"Let's enjoy our last few hours together" Enzo grinned.

The group entered the train together and looked for an empty compartment. Eventually they found one and they all squeezed in. It was hard to fit nine people into a compartment but they were determined.

Lilli, Astoria, Pansy, Theo and Blaise on one side.
Draco, Mattheo, Liam and Enzo on the other.

"It won't be the same when we get back" Blaise sounded upset.
"Of course it will" Enzo tried to make him feel better but it didn't seem to work.
"No he's right" Liam nodded "its getting more serious by the day"
"It won't effect us" Pansy shrugged them off

Lilli didn't comment. She knew Blaise was right but she wasn't about to admit it.

Theo quickly changed the subject to something more amusing and the group happily followed suit.

The train screeched to a halt and the group went silent. The happiness had been drained from the compartment, it was like a dementor had just entered the train.

Mattheo was the first to stand up. He nodded his head toward the door "Let's go".

"What if we just stay on the train" Theo joked.

Lilli sent Theo a look. It was the kind of look that meant 'come on it'll be alright". She took his hand and squeezed it.
Theo nodded and stood up. The nine teenagers left the train and some were greeted by their familys.

Lilli found her parents in the crowd and started to walk toward them.
"Lillith content de te revoir"
(Lillith nice to see you again)
Lillis mother didn't smile, she had a stern look plastered on her face. She scanned her daughter up and down.

"Et ta mama" Lilli nodded back.
(And you mother)

Lilli turned to wave goodbye to the others and saw Theos father shouting at him already. Mattheo was alone with Liam, they looked around and then left the platform alone.

Lilli waved goodbye to the others and followed her parents off the platform.

When they arrived home her mother ordered her to her room. Lilli was used to this, she spent most of her summer locked away in her room reading and practicing her magic. She didn't mind, it's not like she wanted to see her parents or brother.
