The tall grey walls of the infamous school came into view as the carriage pulled up by the edge of the massive lake. A quick charm on both Rodger and the carriage itself allowed them to drive easily across the water. They arrived at the front gates and found the school eerily quiet, it seemed to be on lockdown. They parked up the carriage and hid it with an invisibility spell, once they did that they attempted to enter the school. The main door was locked so they began to bang and shout, nobody answered. They headed around the side of the school and found Hagrid's hut. "HAGRID, HAGRID" Pansy banged on his door "Merlin's beard, what? what? Who is it?" He swung open the door and found the ragged looking Slytherins on the other side "Merlin you kids look terrible" Hagrid chuckled "Come in, come in" they all pilled into the tiny hut and sat on whatever was was available "It's been to long, how are we all" he handed them mugs of hot chocolate "Not doing to well" Pansy sighed "We need to get back into the school" Blaise explained "I'll let you in don't you worry" He pulled out a large chain of keys. The group followed him up the hill toward one of the back doors that led to a back hall in the school. "Thanks Hagrid" Theo shook his hand "No problem kids, visit anytime" he gave them a wave before trodding off back toward his hut.
The group went back to their respected dorm rooms and found all their luggage waiting for them. Pansy was the only girl left in the room and she looked longingly at the two empty beds that used to have so much life. She turned over and found a letter sat on her pillow, it had a gold 'P' on the front but nothing else. She ripped it open with Lilli's dagger and read the small amount of writing on the page.
"Dear Pansy,
The dark forest tonight at 12, bring everybody. It ends tonight"
She stuffed the letter into her pocket and ran to the boys rooms. "Who sent it?" Mattheo examined the piece of paper "I have no idea" Pansy sighed "Guess we'll find out tonight" Theo shrugged "I don't know if it's safe" Blaise shook his head "What do we have to lose?" Enzo shrugged "like they said, it ends tonight".
