The Magic Within

Lilli lay down on the grass in the moonlight. She flicked her wrist and a small green-blue light came from her hand.

Lilli had been practising wandless magic since the start of 5th year. She had been reading Dorcas meadows diary she discovered Dorcas had learned some wandless magic during her years at the school. After multiple long hours in the library and over a year of practice Lilli had learned a few spells. She was already an incredibly talented witch so it came easy to her.

She pointed her hand at a nearby tree, a green light flashed and the tree was engulfed in flames. With another flick of her wrist the tree was extinguished.

She enjoyed looking at the green light coming from her hand, it made her feel so powerful. She opened the book again and flicked through a few pages. 

"Tracking spell" she read out.

She didn't think she could do this one with her own hand so she pulled out her wand. She spoke the spell quietly and a pair of blue footprints appeared beside her. They were her own from when she had walked down from the castle that evening.

She undone the spell and smiled in awe. 
"How useful" she thought to herself

She spent a little more time just picking things up from the floor and throwing them without using her wand. She continued until she heard a branch snap and some voices. She quickly kicked her book under some leaves and transformed into her animagus.

As her white fur reflected light, she was almost invisible when hiding in the darkness of the trees.
She watched as two boys walked into the forest. But not just any two boys, it was Mattheo and Liam.

She watched in shock as Mattheo pulled a ring off his finger and pointed it toward a clearing, he moved his arm in a circular motion and a large dark blue portal opened.
Once they stepped through it quickly closed again. Lilli bounded over to where they had disappeared.

Lilli's ring caught her eye, the green eyes where glowing in the moonlight. She took it off and copied Mattheos movements, to her surprise a green portal opened. She stepped through and found herself in a random forest. She didn't know where to go, or where the boys had went. After a few moments of thinking she remembered the spell she had just learned.

She pulled out her wand and shot it at the floor. Two sets of footprints appeared. One set in dark blue and the other in light blue. She followed the footprints to a large manor house before undoing the spell. She slipped in the door of the house and looked around. The house was much like her own but very dark and black.

Lilli looked to her right and caught a glimpse of Mattheo turning a corner. She walked quietly up the hall and peeked around the corner. Lilli found herself looking at a huge dinning room. Liam and Mattheo were stood at the foot of the table and sat at the head  was a person in a black cloak. Lilli pressed herself against the wall and listened to what they were saying. 

"You have until December to get them here before I kill you both" the voice hissed.
"Yes sir" the boys replied in sync.
"I shouldn't have to tell you this in person, hurry it up" he growled.
"Yes sir" they replied again.  
"Now get out before you raise suspicion" the man said finally.

Lilli cast a quick invisibility spell and followed the boys out.

"What are we gonna do" Liam was rubbing his temple and his voice sounded stressed
"Everything's okay, this is my problem. I'll make sure nothing happens to you" Mattheo put his arm around Liams shoulders. 
"And what about her?" Liam looked up at Mattheo.
"I have no idea what I'm going to do"

They stepped through the portal again and Lilli quickly joined them. She watched as they walked back to the castle and she parted from them to collect her book.
