Draco had entered the common room and caused everyone's head to turn.
"What the fuck are you looking at" he snapped at a group of first years. Theo laughed "Probably all that blood on you shirt mate" "Be nice to the first years Malfoy" Lilli glared "What happend?" Astoria asked, though she didn't really seem to care. "Punched Weasley" Draco inspected his nuckles "Fair enough" Mattheo shrugged. "You're always so angry Malfoy, even the new boys aren't surprised by the blood on your shirt and they've only been here a month" Blaise shook his head in dissapointment. "He is quite aggressive" Liam laughed in return "You can all get quite angry" he paused "Except you Lilli, I've never seen you mad" Liam pointed "I'm just a very calm person" she smiled. Theo burst out laughing and Lilli slapped his arm, "Oi, I am" "The only reason Lilli doesn't get angry anymore is because last time she did, she almost killed Hermoine" Theo was still laughing.
"Well now we need to know the story" Mattheo shifted forward in his seat. "There is no story, she pissed me off and I punched her" Lilli shrugged.
"And then she hexed her with Alarte Ascendare sending her flying into the air only to land so heavily that the floor shook and a book case almost landed on her" Pansy could hardly speak through her hysterical laughter.
"Okay so I almost flattened Hermoine. But it was for a good cause and not to mention, now I am a much nicer person" Lilli said proudly.
"What did she do to cause this murder attempt" Mattheo inquired. "She called Astoria a slag" Theo replied, a flash of pain flickered across Astorias face momentarily but she shook it off. "I have said it before and i'll say it again, I would kill for my family" Lilli shrugged turning back to the book she had been reading "Are you and Astoria related?" Liam looked confused
"No, but these guys are my family. My real 'family' can rot in hell" Lilli's reply caused Mattheo to raise an eyebrow, she didn't know why but he seemed quite intrigued. She quickly shut her mouth and begged nobody would ask anymore questions.
"I never hear you speak about your family Lilli" Liam didn't realise the tension he had just caused in the room. The rest of the group shared some concerned looks.
"No need to speak about them" Lilli replied bluntly "Right, I need to go shower, see you guys in a bit" Lilli began to stand up but Theo grabbed her arm.
"You okay?" He mouthed receiving a not very convincing nod in response. Lilli opened the door to her room and took a step inside finally being able to let out a breath of relief.
"Lillith" a deep, posh English accent frightened her. "What the fuck" she spun around toward the voice.
"Language sister" the voice was calm but mean. It was attached to a tall blonde boy, at least 6'1 but he was scrawny. He stood with his hands behind his back and his chin up high.
"What are you doing here?" Lilli hissed "Just popped in for a visit" the boys expression didn't change, hard and callice."Well, you can leave now" Lilli sighed. She acted calm but she was ready to pass out.
"Sister, you must come home and help us" The boy's tone a little more aggressive now "I'm not taking the mark, so you should just leave" the boy took a step forward. "I said LEAVE Edward" Lilli pointed her wand at him "You will regret this when the time comes, all of you on his side will" Edward snapped. "I am not on anybodys side but my own" Lilli was getting angry.
"We will get you on our side, a girl with your power needs to use it" He had lost his cool deminer and his expression had become angry.
"If you don't get out, it's you I'll use it on" she smirked pointing the wand directly towards his heart "I should be the heir not you, you're not worthy" he growled "You think I want to be heir" She scoffed "How dare you disrespect this family" Edward slapped her face.
"GET OUT" A booming voice came from the doorway. Edward clenched his fists and stormed out of the room. He was tall with a strong build but still no match for the other boy.
Once the door had shut Lilli fell back sightly clutching her chest. She couldn't breath and she felt like she was having a heart attack. The sight of her family sent her into a state of pure anxiety yet she had to keep up a constant hard exterior around them.
Theo stepped forward from the doorway to try comfort her but she hadn't even acknowledged he was there. She ran to the bathroom and splashed her face with water. She was clutching the sides of the sink so tight she wouldn't have been surprised if it cracked.
"Lilli" Theo whispered. He wrapped his arms around her and she fell to the floor "It's okay, you're alright" he rubbed her hair while she sobbed into his arms "I told you, I can't do this again. I told you, I told you" she cried through broken sobs "Neither can I Lils, neither can I" He whispered.
They stayed in this position for a while until Lilli sat up out of his arms."Right, I need to pull myself together" Lilli whiped her tears and stood up. There it was, her walls built themselves back up just as quickly as they had fallen. The only person who had ever seen her this vulnerable was Theo and she would make sure it stayed that way. The only time her hard exterior fell was when she was near her retched family.
"Lils, it's okay to not be alright" Theo reached out for her arm as she walked out of the bathroom. "No Theo, it's not okay. I have to be okay, if I'm not okay we will all fall apart" Lilli replied cooly. "Lils" Theo looked upset. "You should really get some sleep" "I'm going back to the others" she brushed him off and walked out.
"Hey guys!" Lilli smiled as she entered the room. "Good shower?" Enzo looked up over a book he was reading. "Brilliant" Lilli smiled in return
Theo came in a few seconds after her looking a little more disheveled.
Mattheo looked him up and down coming to his own conclusion. They had been gone for quite some time, walked back in together, Lilli was smiling and Theo looked all over the place. It seems Liam thought the same thing, he glanced over at Mattheo and they shared a similar look of annoyance.
