What Makes A Villain // Mattheo Riddle

New girl?

Platform 9¾, full of parents and their children. People rushing about and saying goodbye for the first time. Kids crying about missing their parents and others rushing to get away as quick as they could. The platform was crowded and smoky. Lilli narrowed her eyes and searched through thr crowd for somebody she knew. There were children there for the first time and others for their last.

Lilli finnaly spotted Theo on the far side of the platform and pushed her way over to him.

"Lil!" His face lit up when he saw her push toward him. He picked her up in a hug and spun her around.
"It's so good to see you again" she wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him close to her.
"Are you alright" she rubbed her thumb down a bruise near his temple.
"I'm fine, are you?" He scanned her body looking for any sign of injury.
"Ye I didn't leave my room all summer so I got off pretty easy"

The two of them grabbed their luggage and attempted to board the train and look for the others. "God there's to many people" Theo grumbled as he pushed past some second years and stepped in the train door.
It didn't take long to find Pansy, Astoria, Blaise and Enzo in one of the compartments.

"Hey!" Pansy shouted excitedly, jumping up to engulf her two friends in a hug.

The two loaded their luggage and slid into the compartment.
Mattheo was next to show up. He slid open the compartment door and Liam entered behind him. Draco arrived just before the train departed and practically fell into their compartment.

"I'm so excited to get back" Astoria grinned
"I have an uneasy feeling" Blaise shook her head "we need to keep are wits about us this year, stick together"
The others nodded.
"It does feel different" Lilli added.

"Our dorm, our home" Lilli burst through the door of the dorm and threw herself onto her bed.

"It's so dusty" Astoria ran her finger along the desk "We'll have to do some spring cleaning" she chuckled.
"We can unpack later, let's go to the great hall" Pansy dragged the two of them out of the dorm by their wrists.

The girls sat down next to the boys at the top of the slytherin table.
All the first years were being sorted but none of them really paid any attention.

"She looks a little old to be a first year" Astoria laughed, pointing at a girl who looked about 16 or 17. She was a red head and about a foot taller then all the first years around her.
"Probably just a new girl" Liam shrugged.
"She got sorted into Gryfindoor anyway so it doesn't concern us" Draco added
"Everyone excited for the party tonight?" Theo clapped his hands to catch everyone's attention.
"Party?" Mattheo sounded confused.
"Ye the slytherins always have a party on the first day back" Enzo slurped his pumpkin juice.
"Oh Lilli that ring is gorgeous, how have I only noticed it now" Astoria gasped grabbing Lillis hand.
"Oh ye, I eh got it over summer" Lilli looked over at Mattheo who was uncharacteristically smiling.

Liam zoned out a little while the others were talking. He was unknowingly looking toward the Gryfindoor table. He watched as the new girl talked with the trio. She looked up at the Slytherin group and made direct eye contact with him. The girl turned to whisper something to the other three and they all looked up at him. Liam quickly caught himself and looked away.

"I don't like her" he blurted out.
"Who?" Enzo turned to him.
"The new girl, I have a bad feeling"
"We'll keep our distance then" Mattheo patted his back to reassure him.
"We haven't even spoken to her?" Blaise shrugged
"Liams gut is never wrong" Mattheo stood up for his friend.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Harry, Harry Potter" Harry outstretched a hand toward the new girl.
"Rose Murphy" She shook his hand.
"

Nice to meet you" Hermoine smiled up at her.
"You joined quite late" Ron shovelled some egg into his mouth.
"I just didn't really like my old school, the education here is much better" she shrugged.

Rose let her gaze wander and a group a few tables away caught her eye. 
"Who are they?" she turned to ask the trio nodding her head toward the Slytherin table.

"Them?" Hermoine rolled her eyes "'Slytherin royalty'"

"That one right there is Lillith Gray" she pointed
"The Slytherin princess. One wrong word and her goons will kill you" Ron glared.
"Her goons?" Rose didn't take her eyes away from the group.
"All of the boys, but especially those two. Theodore Nott and Mattheo Sanchez" Harry shrugged "Malfoy can get pretty defensive to".
"And the other girls?"
"Astoria and Pansy. I don't really know that much about them two, the whole group is very secretive. But the boys won't let you disrespect them either, so be careful"  

"We don't belive Mattheo is who he say's he is" Harry added.
Rose finnaly took her eyes away from the group and turned back around to look at them "why?".
"Well we don't really have any proof, but we think he's a Riddle" Hermoine explained 
"But we don't know how to prove it" Ron sighed 
"Why are you telling me this? You don't know me" Rose glanced nervously at the group.
"You seem nice. And we need another girl" Hermoime chuckled.
That's the problem with Gryffindoors, they're to trusting.
"I can help, they don't know me so I can get close to them" Rose smirked staring at Mattheo who was patting his friend on the back.

"Make sure you don't actually fall for him, he's bad news" Ron laughed.

Rose couldn't take her eyes off of him and it seemed there was someone he couldn't take his eyes off of either. Rose watched as Lilli and Pansy laughed hysterically at Enzo falling off the bench, Mattheo chuckled but his eyes didn't leave Lilli once.

"Are they an item" Rose glared at he back of Lilli's head.
"Lilli and Mattheo? No, not officially anyways. Everyone would know if they were, they would be the most powerful couple to walk the halls of hogwarts"
"We'll see" Rose whispered under her breathe.

"Why don't we give you a tour?" Ron offered outstretching a hand to help her up.
"Ye I would love that" she took his hand.

The group began walking toward the entrance of the great hall but were stopped by a hufflepuff girl.
"Hey guys! You coming to the party tonight?"
"Party?" Confusion painted all four faces.
"Ye, the annual slytherin party. It happens at the beginning of evey year. See you there" she smiled amd walked off.
"We've never been invited before" Ron whined
"We aren't their favorite people" Hermoime shrugged. Rose glanced at the slytherin group again before following the trio put of the great hall
