Our Souls Are The Same

The slytherins were all sat in their spot completely drunk and a little bit baked. They were all giggling and laughing. Astoria was in the centre doing her best 'stripper' dance and everyone was clapping and whooping for her. Pansy and Lilli went up next but nobody could compare to Astorias moves.

"Thats the new girl" a very drunk Enzo shouted. He seemed to think he was whispering but he definatly was not. Enzo was already socially unaware and alcohol dialed made him even worse.

"Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Rose Murphy" she smiled

The group all said hello and introduced themselves.

"Theodore nott"
"Pansy Parkinson"
"Astoria Greengrass"
"Liam O'Rielly" Liam did his best attempt at being polite but his face was hard and unwelcoming.
"Blaise Zabinni" Blaise shook her hand
"Enzo"
"Malfoy, Draco Malfoy"
"Lillith Gray, but people call me Lilli" she fake smiled.
"And you" Rose turned to Mattheo.
"Mattheo" he replied bluntly
"No last name?"
"Sanchez"

"Why don't you sit down, tell us about yourself" Blaise invited
The group glared at him. Excpet for Enzo, he was far to wasted to care.

"Sure, scooch over" she smirked at Mattheo.
Mattheo looked around "Is there no free seats?"
"Here you can have my arm chair" Lilli stood up
"It's alright I'm sure Mattheo can move over" Rose said without even looking at Lilli. Mattheo clearly didn't want to speak to her, yet alone be near her. If his best friend said he didn't trust her then Mattheo was going to listen to him. He begged Lilli with his eyes not to let her sit next to him.

"No. You're new so you deserve your own seat" Lilli sent her a dirty look behind her back. Lilli walked over to Mattheo, he grabbed her waist and pulled her down onto his lap.

Rose looked visibly annoyed and went to sit down on the arm chair. Lilli could see Astoria hiding her face behind a pillow so Rose wouldn't see her laughing at her.

Rose wouldn't stop looking over at Mattheo. He took a drag off his joint and kissed Lilli who blew the smoke back out of her own mouth.

"I think I'm going to head upstairs" Lilli winked at Mattheo. He stood up and followed her out of the room like a puppy.
"Bye Mattheo" Rose smirked though she was completely ignored.

Once they reached Lillis dorm they lay down on her bed.
"I hate her, like more then I hate you" Lilli laughed.
"What is her deal" Mattheo chuckled

Mattheo was laying on Lillis chest while she read a book.

"What are you reading?" he looked up at her.
"Do you want me to read it to you" she smiled down at him.
"Yes please, I like listening to you speak" he shut his eyes and wrapped his arm around her waist. He was so clearly out of it but she couldn't help but melt at his touch.

"It would degrade me to marry Heathcliff now, so he shall never know how I love him. And that, not because he's handsome, Nelly, but because he's more myself than I am. Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same, and Linton's is as different as a moonbeam from lightning, or frost from fire." Lilli read.

"Wait, read that again" Mattheo interrupted.
"Which part?"
"The part about the souls"

"Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same" Lilli repeated.
"I like that" Mattheo smiled
"Oh ye?" Lilli rubbed his hair.
"It's like me and you"
"You're so high" Lill laughed. A small smile was plastered on Matthoes face, he let his eyes slowly close and fell asleep in Lillis arms.

"You two are cute" Pansy smiled when she entered the room.
"when are you gonna admit you like him?" Astoria laughed following Pansy into the room.
"We are just friends" Lilli shook her head.
"Sure" Astoria sent her a teasing look.
Lilli rolled her eyes "How did it go with, what's her name"
"She's alright, she seems a bit obsessed with him" Pansy nodded toward Mattheo.
"She seems annoying" Lilli huffed
"Well we won't have to speak to her again" Astoria shrugged.
"Ye? We better not" Lilli rolled her eyes.
"I mean she's a Gryffindoor, she shouldn't be near us" Pansy nodded

Lilli could feel Mattheo stirring. He blinked open his eyes and looked around the room in a bit of a daze. "Why am I here?"
"You we're really drunk and you passed out up here" Pansy shouted from the bathroom. "Oh"
"Lilli and Astoria went down to breakfast already, you coming?" Pansy entered back into the dorm, she chuckled at how terrible Mattheo looked. "Ye" Mattheo nodded slowly. His eyes landed on a book laying on the floor beside the bed. Some memories of the night before flashed back into his mind.
