"Good morning."
"You look like shit."
"Jonathan!" Joyce grew wide-eyed before turning to Ophelia, "Don't listen to him, you look great."
"Thanks but I know I don't. Not with the great big heartbreak of Steve Harrington."
"Oh no," Joyce frowned now, "Sweetie, I am so sorry."
"You should've told me," Jonathan sighed now, "I would've never asked you to babysit last night."
"It's fine, I needed the distraction- although, you should've told me Will wasn't going to come home in the first place."
"What?"
Jonathan and Joyce both stopped what they were doing, looking at Ophelia curiously.
"I called you last night and told you when you got home to check on him before you got into bed," she frowned.
"I- yeah... I don't remember that at all. I'm sorry, I was so exhausted."
She rolled her eyes playfully but shook her head, looking at Joyce, "I stayed up waiting for him. When Jonathan got into bed and didn't say anything about him not being there... I assumed..."
"And you're sure he never came home? Maybe he came in after you two were asleep?"
"He didn't. I just checked his room," she took a seat at the table, "I'm sure he's at the Wheelers though... right?"
"Right," Joyce said nervously, "Let me just call to check in before I head to work."
"Good idea," Jonathan mumbled, placing Ophelia's plate of food in front of her.
She now ate nervously, watching a panicked Joyce on the phone.
When the Karen denied Will's being there, Ophelia groaned.
"I'm staying home from school. I'll go see Hop-"
"Absolutely not," Joyce gave her a look, "You go to school- check in on the boys and make sure they haven't heard from him. Jonathan, you look around town and see if there's any sign of him. I'll go talk to Hopper."
"Fine. But as soon as I talk to the boys I'm coming back here."
"That won't be necessary," Joyce forced a smile, "Because we'll find him. Everything will be fine. So you two- business as usual. Eat your breakfast then head out. Don't need either of you passing out."
Jonathan only nodded, watching his mother rush out, already feeling the worry build in his stomach.
"Johnny?"
"Huh?"
"Hurry up and eat so we can go out and look for Will."
"Ye-yeah. Right. But you really need to go to school today."
