Nancy felt like she failed Barb.

Hearing that she was gone from El truly made her feel horrible.

She hated feeling so selfish thinking about herself and how she was feeling when Barb was the one she should've been focusing on from the beginning.

Not herself. Not Steve.

She should've gone home with her the second she wanted to that night. Now the Hollands would suffer without their daughter and it was all her fault.

Jonathan and Ophelia could see the gears turning in her head as they hesitantly approached her.

"Hey, Nance."

"Hey guys," she sighed, continuing to look down at her hands.

"I'm sorry about Barb," Ophelia mumbled, making Nancy smile sadly.

"Thanks."

"We were thinking-"

"We have to get back to the station," Nancy was determined as she looked up at them, "We have to finish what we started."

"That's exactly what I was thinking," Ophelia smiled, "It should be easy to get our things back. There isn't much security at night in the station."

"That's concerning," Jonathan chuckled when he helped Nancy stand.

"What it is is helpful. Let's go before we waste anymore time."

"Shouldn't we tell the kids where we're going?" Nancy asked hesitantly.

"And risk them wanting to come with us? No way. We'll be back in no time."

The three quickly left, making it to the police station and grabbing their things before they were off again to the Byers' home.

"We all remember the plan, right?"

"Yeah. Let's do this thing."

Setting up the house was fairly easy after they discussed long and hard how they would do so and what would make the prefect trap for the Demogorgon.

By the time they finished, Ophelia looked around the home proudly.

"We did good, team."

"Do we think this is actually going to work?"

"It has to," Nancy sighed, "If it doesn't... who knows what..."

"We can't think that way," Ophelia quickly reassured her, "I can't believe I'm saying this but we have to be positive. We have to kick this Demogorgon's ass. For Hopper and Joyce... for Will and for Barb."

"Yeah. We got this."

"We got this," she smiled at them, "Now, let's cut ourselves."

"That sounds so wrong out of context," Nancy laughed, handing Ophelia her knife.
