"Are you sure you can't break up with him just for today?"

"Pretty sure that's not how relationships work, Tina," Ophelia chuckled as she took the paper from her.

"I'm just saying! This is the first year we're actually friends and I know it's your birthday. I want to make this the best goddamn birthday ever- hot eligible bachelors included."

"It would be the best birthday ever if it ends with me getting wasted and having the time of my life- no boys included."

"So you will break up with him?"

"What now?" Jonathan asked once he left the classroom with Nancy.

Tina ignored him, handing Nancy an invite instead, "Just think about it, Lia."

"I need another one," Nancy chuckled, quickly taking it from her and handing it to Jonathan when they walked away.

"Did she just try to get you to break up with me?"

"She really wants to set me up with some guy."

"The new kid?"

"God, I hope not," Ophelia grimaced, "He gives me a bad vibe."

"And there's also the fact that we're still dating?" Jonathan offered.

"Right."

"Hey guys! There you are!" Steve was excited to see them to say the least, "I see you all got the invites to Ophelia's birthday party."

"We were actually just talking about it- and I'm forcing you to go, Jonathan."

"I'd rather not."

"Cmon, man. You can't let her go on her own," Steve attempted to sound sincere. He wanted nothing more than Ophelia to go alone so he could finally talk to her- especially after noticing Jonathan's hand on her stomach. Did they always do that?

"Thank you, Steve," Ophelia forced a smile, "That being said- what are you two dressing up as?"

"From Risky Business," Nancy grimaced, "It was Steve's idea."

"Of course it was."

"What about you two?" Steve now put an arm around Nancy, feeling guilty that he was so much as thinking about another woman who wasn't his girlfriend.

"Princess Di, Prince Charles?" she looked at Jonathan hopefully who only groaned as he walked away.

"Oh cmon! You never let me pick a costume!"

"Aren't they so cute together?" Nancy asked as she watched them leave.

"Yeah. The cutest," Steve grumbled, already pulling her to walk away from them.

"Are you going with Will to his doctor's appointment this time?" Ophelia asked once they were alone.

"Nah," Jonathan sighed, "Mom thought it was best if only her and Hopper go. With all of Will's little... black outs... she wants to be extra careful with him."
