"What happened?" I saw him shake his head before squinting his eyes.

"I-it's about Saintess," anito na nagpakaba sa akin. I look at Saintess room before seriously looking at Xerxes again.

"I'll try talking to her, Xerxes. It's better if you wouldn't panic right now, okay?" I said while looking into his eyes.

I saw the hesitation in his eyes before nodding his head. "I'll trust you this time." Tumango ako dito bago naglakad papunta sa kwarto ni Saintess. I knock on the door and when I didn't hear any response I went inside.

I look at the woman seating silently on her bed while looking outside of the open window. Dahan-dahan akong lumapit dito bago umupo sa kaniyang tabi.

"Saintess," I uttered trying to grab her attention.

She didn't respond to me and just stare blankly outside. I heaved a sigh before trying to touch her but before the tip of my fingers came close to her skin she immediately flinch in her seat. Umawang ang labi ko nang makita ang unti-unting panginginig nito.

"I-i'm sorry, my lady," aniko sa nagpapanik na boses. Nakita ko naman ang sandaling pagkatigil nito bago tumingin sa akin.

"S-silv," she mumbled using her raspy voice before showing me a faint smile.

"S-aintess you know that he's already dea—" Itutuloy ko na sana ang sasabihin ko dito kaso lang naalala ko ang sinabi ni Reynold.

I clench my teeth before gently holding Saintess's hand. She didn't flinch but she just stay motionless.
