Pregnant

EJ and I have been married for 3 years. We dated in college for 4 years, and he proposed to me in our senior year of college. He is the best husband I could ask for. We both really love kids, so he's going to be excited when I tell him the news.

EJ was sitting on the couch in his work clothes still, and watching tv. He heard me approach and he looked to see me crying. Not like sobbing. Happy crying. I'm just super excited to finally have kids with him.

"Oh, baby." He ran and gave me a gentle hug, he started rubbing my back, "what's wrong?" He wiped away my tears and raised his eyebrows.

I sniffed, "nothing's wrong." I smiled.

"Then why are you crying?" He looked at me with a concerned face as he cupped my cheeks.

"eej, I'm pregnant." I smiled at him.

His face lit up, "seriously??" He looked at my stomach immediately like he would already be able to see the bump. I nodded and sniffed. He lifted me up gently and spun me around. He kissed me, "I love you, I love you, I love you so so much." He grinned. "I'm gonna be a dad." He chuckled lightly as he set me down. He kissed my stomach almost 20 times as I laughed.

"You're going to be an amazing dad." I smiled as he gave me another hug.

"We can sing to your belly every night and we'll watch it grow."

"Baby, that's the most romantic thing you've ever said."

He grinned, kissed my lips immediately, pulled away, and smiled. "I'm so excited." He jumped up and down. He stopped jumping and said, "do you have the-" I handed him the pregnancy test which I was hiding behind me. He smiled at the plus and kissed me once again. "I'll love you forever, y/n. And little y/n." He said, speaking to my stomach.

I giggled, "I love you too, and you too little ej." I smiled looking down at my belly as ej kissed it once more.
