Y/N's house

*EJ POV*
My friends and I were walking in my neighborhood as something stopped me dead in my tracks. Y/N's house. I saw her inside her room because her window was open. She was studying or something. It was really cute, and also shows work ethic. That's attractive. My friends noticed I stopped and Ricky said, "dude, go say 'hi'"

"No." I replied, "That's creepy. We haven't even talked let alone at her house." I about died when she saw me staring. She looked outside and waved with a kind smile on her face.

We started walking away because it was awkward but a few seconds later Y/N came out of her garage.

"Hey guys!" She said, hugging Ricky and waving to me and the other guys. She's close with Ricky which is why Ricky always makes fun of me for having a crush on her.

"Hi Y/N, do you want to join us on our walk?" Ricky asked, winking at me.

"Sure! If you guys don't mind." She said, looking directly at me.

I shook my head, "not at all." I smiled.

"Okay." She grinned, walking with us.

She talked to Ricky for a little while until she came back to me, "hey, ej right?" She asked.

My stomach was doing flips, "y-yeah."

"I'm Y/N!" She stuck her hand out. Wow, she's friendly.

"Nice to meet you." I grinned accepting her handshake. Her hands were soft. Super soft. I was a lot taller than Y/N, but obviously a lot less outgoing. I am not really a big shot at school. I do theatre and that's about it. I've got a few friends, but not many. I'm surprised one of the most popular girls in school knows who I am. I've had a crush on her for forever.

We talked for the rest of the walk. We circled around the neighborhood until we made it back to Y/N's house. It was really nice. Usually I'm kinda nervous around people, but she was so easy to talk to.

"It was really nice getting to know you ej." She said, giving me a hug. And with that hug, I just about died of happiness. She's really sweet. Maybe someday I'll tell her.

'I like you'

"Bye Rick." She said, laughing. "Bye ej! Bye boys." She said, blowing us a kiss.
