I've been different my whole life from all of Seabrook. I was adopted at 2 months old, so I don't remember my parents. My adoptive sister, Addison, and I get along very well. We feel like real sisters, and it's nice to have someone similar to you when you have strange white hair. Yes, I have white hair as well. Tomorrow is our first day of senior year, one more year of hiding this insane secret until we can move into a more accepting town. Wearing a wig is not fun, but I'm used to it. Sometimes I wonder if there's something wrong with me.

The next day at school I met up with my friends Sam, Wendy, and Mary at lunch.

I rushed over to our regular table, "I have to tell you guys about this crazy dream I had last night."

Sam laughed, "Well, hello to you too."

I rolled my eyes, and he laughed, "Okay, miss sassy pants, go ahead, tell us."

"So basically, there was a guy in my dream, he had blue hair, and he said 'Where are you?' Don't dreams mean things? Am I going insane? I cannot get this dream off my mind."

"I think you're okay yn." Wendy laughed, "If you have the same dream again, that would be a little weird."

And that's exactly what happened. I didn't mention it to my friends again, but something seemed off.

3 weeks later.

"Yn, smile, you're going to ruin the pictures." Mary laughed, as she took Sam and I's picture for homecoming. We're going as friends, but I do think he likes me.

"I'm sorry, my mind is somewhere else," I responded.

"Are you okay?" Sam turned to face me and put his hands on my shoulders. "We don't have to go if you're not feeling up to it. You've been kinda out of it for the last couple of weeks."

"No, no. I want to go. I promise." I attempted to smile up at him, but I don't think I did a good job convincing him.

Sam drove us to homecoming, and we arrived 15 minutes late. There was a lot of backed up traffic. "What's going on up there?" Wendy asked.

Sam shrugged, "I don't know. It shouldn't be this backed up."

"Do you want to go check it out?" I asked Sam.

"Yeah." He parked the car on the side of the road. I grabbed his hand. I have a feeling I don't want to know what's up there. He smiled, and he and I walked up to where the backup was.

"What the fu-" Sam started, and I gasped when we saw what looked like a UFO crash, and three blue-haired people coming out of it. I gripped Sam's hand tighter. One of them looked really familiar.

A couple weeks later, the blue-haired, apparently aliens, were accepted into our school. We already have zombies and werewolves. Might as well add aliens to the list. The day of homecoming, Sam and I had left immediately after seeing the aliens, and went home. We didn't want to get hurt. I walked into my calculus class, and I swear, I saw the guy from my dream. Next to him was the only empty seat in the classroom. One of the aliens took my original seat. He looked shocked when I approached him, and I raised my eyebrows. I sat down, and he said, "Hi! I'm A-Lan."

"Yn." It was very strange, but I felt like I already knew this guy. Like I had...met him in a previous life or something.

-

A-Lan and I started to hang out more within the next couple weeks. We were a lot in common, and some people even said we looked alike. Our facial features apparently. One day, A-Lan was showing Addison and me the message from their commander. The commander had white hair, just like Addison and me. She ended up being Addison's grandma. Meaning Addison is part alien. She gave the aliens all a hug, and her hair turned blue immediately. It suited her.

"Addison!" I gave her a hug. "This is amazing! You know who you are!"

She smiled and then gasped, "Couldn't you be part alien too? You also have white hai-"

A-Lan raised his eyebrows, "You have white hair?"

"No." I stuttered, he could obviously tell I was lying. He pulled my wig back to reveal my natural white hair.

He gave me a hug, and immediately my hands started to spark, and I looked over and saw my hair turn blue. I gasped.

He smiled, "you're part alien too!"

"How is that even possible?" I asked.

I saw the gears turning in A-Lans head, "my mom is a human. When they got married, she moved to Mars. My parents were scared of hurting my younger sister, when we thought our planet was going to be destroyed. Mom was worried. She sent my younger sister to earth to protect her. They tried to send me too, but I wouldn't leave them. Yn, what was the name of your adoption home?"

"Sunny adoptions."

"And how old were you when you were adopted?"

"2 months."

"Yn...I think you're my little sister." He grinned.

My eyes widened, "actually????" I engulfed A-Lan into a huge hug. "This is AMAZING!!! I've always wanted to know my family."

"We can confirm it back at home, but I'm pretty positive..."

"Wait, you want me to go back? I mean, I-"

"Don't you want to meet our family? You can always come back and visit."

"My whole life is here." I stuttered.

"I'll have you meet our parents, then we can decide if we should move back."

And that we did. Meeting my parents was amazing, they were so happy, but A-Lan, Addison, and I ended up coming back to finish up Addison and I's senior year, while living with her parents. There is quite the different curriculum on Mars, so A-Lan applied for colleges here on Earth. I was so excited to finally know my roots, and I was happier than ever (& dating Sam).

a/n: yo sorry if this is a little weird compared to the actual story of zombies cause to be so for real i only watched that movie once but this was a request lol
