The Conversations

The teams moved along with the caravan, you were in full sensory mode. Your mission was to protect the caravan from bandits and thieves until they were out of the Land of Fire. From there ninja from the Land of Wind would take over until the caravan reached its destination. "I have a question." Your gave flicked over to Yoru. "I have an answer." The male sighed good-naturedly. "So you don't have Chakra, but you do have power. Do you know what is or how you got it?" You sweatdropped. "That's two questions Yoru." You commented before sighing. "I don't know what it is and I'm fairly certain I was born with it." Yoru nodded. "I was hoping that maybe I could find out a little more about you so I could find any clans like that. I'm very intrigued about how your power works and want to learn more by someone who's more experienced, no offense to you of course, and besides... if I do find this clan, you would have a chance to meet your real family." You paused and nodded. "That would be nice. Let me know if you find anything, Yoru."

After that little conversation with Yoru it had you wondering who your real family was? What nation were they really from? Why did they leave you alone in the Land of Fire? Were they even alive? "What's wrong?" You looked to the worried Kasai. "Nothing much, just thinking." He chuckled and crossed his arms. "If that's the case then girl, you need to practice your just thinking face because you looked pretty distraught. Was it something Yoru said?" You shook your head. "Sorta but not really? He thinks he could find my clan? And I have no idea if they even exist anymore let alone if they want me. I mean, Kakashi found me in those woods for a reason, right?" Kasai casually slung his arm around you, much to your discomfort. "If you ask me, you're thinking to hard on this. Chillax, [Y/N] your team and your friends will always have your back." He released his hold, pointing finger guns at you. "You get me?" You deadpanned. He was a strange one, that was for certain. "Yeah Kasai, yeah... I get you. Thanks for the... peptalk?" He grinned. "Ay, no prob. I'm gonna go so the next person can talk to ya." Wait, was there a line?!

"I don't see any sort of Chakra on you whatsoever, what are you?" Oh great, emo boy was next in line. "I already told you I don't know. Ask your Sensei or the Hokage. They'd know more than me." Sasuke narrowed his eyes. "Why would Kakashi Sensei have any idea?" Could this kid stop interrogating you? Please? "Kakashi Sensei was the one who found me as a baby and raised me. That's why." Sasuke blinked, his curiosity piqued. "He found you? As a baby?" You huffed out a tired sigh. "Yup. So I was told, anyway. I hardly know anything about where I come from or how I got into those woods. Only that my dad had sent me here to keep me from war." You thought back on that memory, how Kakashi told you that you weren't from any of the nations. Meaning Yoru would never find anything. You were panicking for nothing. "... fine. I'll talk to them then. Why are you here if you can't defend the caravan?" Sasuke asked. You smirked. "Oh I can." You promised. "I'm stronger than you think."

Then there was this chick.. "Hey I saw you getting all buddy, buddy with Sasuke! Who do you think you are, trying to take my man..." She drowned on and on. Why was she a ninja? "He approached me first.." She didn't seem to hear you though as she continued ranting. How did Naruto have a crush on this girl? "Sakura, Sakura!" She stopped and put her hands on her hips. "What." You sighed and tucked some loose hair hehind your ear. "I'm not after Sasuke, ok? I'm not after anyone. I'm just here to get along and complete this mission, that's all." Sakura looked visibly relieved. "Oh, that's good.." What a 180. "I am Hatake [Y/N]. A pleasure." Just play nice, maybe she isn't so bad. "H-Hatake?! You're Kakashi Sensei's-"
"Adopted daughter. Yes." She flushed in embarrassment. "O-oh. I thought he actually had- you know what, never mind! I'm Haruno Sakura. The pleasure is mine." See, she's not to bad if she doesn't feel threatened. "My friend likes you, you know." Sakura huffed. "Why are you friends with him?" Aaaand you took that back. A growl escaped you, making her freeze. "What do you really know about Naruto?" You lept away, leaving her to her thoughts.

"Your eyes are doing the thing again." Naruto commented, motioning to your eyes. You took a couple breaths to relax yourself and your power which always reacted when your emotions were particularly strong. "Sakura say something?"
"Eh, I'll be fine. I think I gave her some food for thought." You dismissed that particular conversation. "How was this mission for you so far?" To this Naruto threw back his head with an annoyed groan. "This is so boring! I wish there would be some action, y'know?!" You frowned a little. "Naruto, bud. We really don't want the caravan getting attacked. Please don't say that." He sighed and nodded. "Ok.. but I wanna show you how much stronger I've gotten since we last trained!" You rolled your eyes. "How about next training session?"
"I also want you to prove to the others that you're not weak. You can handle these kinds of missions." You blinked at Naruto and smiled. "Maybe someday, pal, but not today if we can help it."
"Alright! Let's stop and make camp here for the night!" Hizuki Sensei called. "We've still got two days of travel left, rest up everyone, we leave at first light!"
