You pulled on a black shirt that was tucked into black jeans, your Chunin vest, and your jacket before you headed out into the cloudy morning to make it to the funeral. The ceremony was being held at the Hokage's Tower, on the roof where all the ninja gathered, thinking about good times with the Hokage when he'd been alive. There was an alter set up with his picture and a basket of white roses in which to put on his casket. A small drizzle started as you joined your team in mourning the Third. "The Hokage was the one who allowed me to stay here. He had Kakashi take care of me all those years ago." You muttered. "I love my father and I'm so grateful to the Hokage for giving me to him." Kasai ruffled his red hair as he looked down. "Yeah... everyone loved that old guy. He was like that perky, crazy grandpa that everyone couldn't help but love." Hizuki growled. "Be nice, Kasai!" You made your way over to Naruto who'd been pretty close to the Hokage. He was trying to help the Hokage's grandson calm down. You tried to help them both, letting the boy cry onto you while Naruto gave you a small, grateful smile.

"I heard Naruto and Lord Jaraiya went to find a new Hokage." It was a few days later, and you were laid off missions for the time being. You'd been busy between Naruto and missions with your team. You haven't had the chance for a proper conversation with your father until now. He placed a cup of coffee in front of you. "I heard that you became a Chunin." You smiled sheepishly. "Yeah... I was going to tell you after but with everything that was happening.." Kakashi stopped you there, placing a plate of dorayaki between the two of you. "It's fine, [Y/N]. I'm proud of you. Congratulations on your promotion!" He gave you a fond smile. "I'm not busy tonight. Do you want to go out and celebrate or something?" You offered. "That's sounds nice actually. It's been a while since we had a night to ourselves." Your father agreed. "There's a nice tea shop downtown and I heard it has some delicious muchi!" Kakashi immediately rolled his eye at the mention of the sugary ice cream treat. "Alright then."

The fun was short-lived as two cloaked men with red clouds on their cloaks were also there. They smelled of blood and they were powerful. You looked to your father who was equally on guard. Your instinct was right, they were bad people. You and Kakashi pretended all was well, getting tea and muchi and shooting the breeze while keeping your senses locked onto them so you didn't have to keep looking back towards them and look suspicious. When they did leave, you both finished up before following their trail to a bridge. From there you both cut the two off. "[Y/N]... whatever you do, don't look that one in the eyes." Your father warned. You simply closed your eyes altogether. "What is she?"
"A ninja of Konaha, obviously." The fight began instantly as Kakashi led the first man, Itatchi he called him, into the water as you ducked away from the other man, Kisame. Bones flew at the shark man and he tried to absorb their power... "What the hell?! Samehada should have absorbed that tho-" Your tail wrapped around his sword so he couldn't move and separated him from his Samehada. "Itachi!"

You weren't sure what happened. One second you were facing off against Kisame, the next you were falling into the river, swimming up to the surface. You shook your head, not that it was much help, and swam over to your father who was face first in the water. "Kakashi! Father?!" You teleported him to the hospital to get treated, debating on if you should go after them or not. Ultimately you decided to stay, in case you were needed. Something told you this wouldn't be the last time you saw them. It wasn't long before Sasuke heard, which you weren't sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing. You sorely hoped he didn't go after Itachi. You hoped more so that Naruto would come with Lady Tsunade so she could do her healing thing. That's what she was known for. Her excellent healing skills and inhuman strength. You leaned back in a chair, watching your fathers chest rise and fall... so much for father daughter bonding. You closed your eyes, feeling a slight something in your chest. "sansita..." Your eyes snapped open upon feeling a hand on your shoulder. "Naruto..?" The blonde smiled. "I'm back! And I got the Granny too!"

Lady Tsunade certainly lived up to her reputation. She quickly healed Kakashi and Sasuke who HAD gone after his brother, and was determined to figure out a way to heal Lee after his injuries from Gaara. She kept giving you weird looks though, ones that you didn't understand. It was like like she knew something you didn't. You were going to have to ask her when she wasn't busy healing others. So you checked on you father, went home to get your Chunin vest, and stopped to wait at the Hokage's office. You weren't waiting long before you spotted the blonde woman and her right hand, Shizune. "Ah... it's you.." Tsunade murmured. "Yes m'lady. I'm [Y/N] Hatake, Chunin of Konaha. You seemed very interested in me.." Tsunade nodded and gestured for you to follow her inside. "I met a Skeleton man named Sans who was looking for his daughter." She said as the door closed. "W-what?" You suddenly felt alert. "B-but I'm not from... the third said so himself-"
"Sans isn't from this world either. He followed after you apparently, after you were transported here. I'm assuming Kakashi found you first."
