CHAPTER 17

His lips travel from my lips down to my neck and I gasp softly. He gives my neck soft, wet kisses and sigh into him.

My hand trails from his stomach around to his back on its own, feeling the way he tenses under my touch and every time he breathes.

When apollo's mouth reaches a spot right beside my throat, my hand grips his suit harshly and I have to bite my lip to keep from making a noise.

My breathing increases as he stays on that spot, noticing my reaction.

His arm wraps around my body and pulled closer and tight to him.

As his lips returned to mine, I can't help but to finally let out a soft moan.

He chuckled when we finally broke our kisses. "You're the greatest gift I've ever had. Akin ka lang iris. Akin ka." He gave me small peck on my lips.

I stared at him as he returns to his seat.

"We should go back home before mika will worried about us." Ngumiti ito at tumingin sa akin. "Hindi natin sya isinama."

"Apollo? Kailan mo ako papakasalan?"

Tumingin ito sa akin at bahagyang natawa.

"Kasal agad? Hindi pa nga ako nakakapag-propose." Tumaas-taas ang kilay nya. Ngunit agad din nyang napansin na hindi ako ngumiti. "Ang seryoso mo naman babe. May masakit ba?" Tatayo sana ito nang sumenyas ako sa kanya na okay lang ako kaya bumalik sya sa kinauupuan nya.

"I'm fine. Hindi lang talaga ako makapaniwala na sa akin ka na apollo. My words can't express how much I love you." Tumulo ang mga luha ko.

"Pinakikilig mo na naman ako babe." Ngumuso ito at tumayo sabay lumapit sa akin. "My words and my actions can express how much I love you, Iris. You may not feel it but i will always here remind you every day that I love you and I will never get tired of loving you for life until my death and in my next life."

Lalong akong lumuha nang lumuhod ito sa harap ko at may inilabas na box ng singsing.

"Iris Delara Astrid, will you marry me?"

Nalaglag muli ang mga luha na kanina ko pa pinipigilan.

"Yes, yes. I will marry you apollo daliz!"

Isinuot nya ang singsing, saktong sakto iyon sa daliri ko.

Sabay kami tumayong dalawa at niyakap ang isa't isa.

"Ang singsing na yan ay bigay sa akin ng Lola ko nang ako ay five years old pa lamang, sabi nya ibigay ko raw iyan sa taong papakasalan ko at mamahalin habang buhay. Ikaw iyon Iris." Ngumisi ito.

"Kaya naman pala saktong-sakto, para talaga tayo sa isa't isa."

"I am the happiest person alive, Iris" Bulong nya sa akin at tumulo na rin ang mga luha nya na kanina pa rin pinipigilan.

"I love you so much, my future wife."

"I love you too, my future husband."

Sabay kaming tumawa.

He claimed my lips again.

Apollo is the man I've never asked for but God knows what's best for me, So I have my Apollo. I am so thankful to God. Apollo aren't just the man of my dream but Apollo is the man beyond my wildest dreams and I promise to love him today, tomorrow, forever and beyond.
