Flare was gardening with Denith, while a not very sneaky Crystal sneaks up behind them.

Denith: "Crystal, I know you're there."

Crystal stops sneaking, standing up straight.

Crystal: "Aww."

Denith: "If you want to properly be sneaky, at least don't do the same thing literally every day. Anyway, what do you need."

Crystal would jot that down in her mental notebook of bad examples she's gotten from Denith.

Crystal: "Thanks for the tip. Have you seen Jolteon anywhere?"

Flare: "You call big bro Jolteon now?"

Crystal: "Well yeah, he's a Jolteon now so it's easier to call him that."

Denith had spent hours convincing Speed to evolve into a Jolteon after realizing he screwed up the timeline with a single flash grenade.

Denith: "Is it?"

Crystal: "Yeah... Probably."

Denith shrugged, pointing at the house.

Denith: "Eh, you do you. Last time I checked he was sleeping, might wanna let him. He had a long day yesterday."

Crystal: "That's what you said yesterday!"

Denith tilted his head.

Denith: "Is it?"

Crystal raised both her arms in annoyance.

Crystal: "That's what you said five seconds ago!"

Denith: "Ah..."

Denith gave the biggest shit-eating grin he could.

Denith: "Is it?"

Crystal groaned and went back inside the treehouse and up to the bedroom where Speed was sleeping. On arrival, she instantly hopped into the air and down into Speed's gut, knocking the air out of him.

Speed: "Guh!"

Crystal: "Wakey wakey!"

Speed groaned and caught his breath.

Speed: "Sis, get off me..."

Denith walked into the room at this time.

Crystal: "Nope!"

Speed went back to sleep, wrapping the sheets around himself.

Denith: "Mood."

Crystal grabbed the sheets and desperately jerked him around.

Crystal: "Hey! Why are you going back to sleep?! Wake up! Come on, wake up! Wake up!"

Speed: "Run..."

Crystal was taken aback by the switch in tone.

Crystal: "Huh?"

Speed: "Have I ever told you that evolution could change behavior and personality...?"
