In the spectator stands, the group was slowly getting tired. Tarakona had managed to win the semi-final round and would be facing Zapper for the finals.

Silvia: "I know we're here for Tara, but jeez, I'm getting tired."

Pearl: "It's just the finals now, right?"

Denith: "Nope. There's a champion match after."

Brian: "Ah, jeez, I might fall asleep..."

Blaze: "Sometimes, I can agree with you."

Aur: "Just two more matches... Tara's got this.

Tarakona entered the arena, hyping herself up.

Tarakona: "C'mon Tara. One more match... Just gotta beat up that weird guy, then I can move on... To him."

Tarakona kept thinking about facing her father, progressively getting more and more nervous.

Mew: "And for the finals... We have Tarakona, the Rayquaza against... Zapper, the Zeraora!"

Zapper wasn't there.

Tarakona: "Uh?"

Mew: "... Zapper the Zeraora?"

Nada.

Tarakona: "Did... Did he ditch me!?"

Mew: "Zapper...?"

A pause.

Jirachi: "Can't sense him. He's gone."

Mew was silent for a few moments, sensing the area for himself.

Mew: "... Seriously?"

Denith in the stands was annoyed that the final match wouldn't be happening.

Denith: "Seriously?"

And then there's Tarakona.

Tarakona: "Seriously!? Ugh, He did ditch me!"

Mew: "I know the games never go quite as planned, but this is insane..."

Jirachi: "Arceus, do you know where he is?"

Everyone looked up towards Arceus, in his usual spot, floating above everyone.

Arceus: "...Not a clue."

Everyone was shocked that a literal god couldn't find Zapper.

Jirachi: "Wow. For a god, you're pretty useless."

Mew: "J-Jirachi! You can't say that!"

Arceus: "Don't blame me. I was written to be this way."

Jirachi: "What?"

Arceus: "Since Zapper isn't available, the winner is Tarakona."

Mew: "I... I guess she is."
