Denith walked back towards the others, and Brian followed close behind. The distant sound of yelling became louder.

Rin: "–you can't tell me this trip wasn't a complete disaster!"

Bolt: "Rin–"

Rin: "Don't tell me I'm wrong!"

The two turned the corner. The others were arguing. Almost everyone was there. Pearl and Sunshine were obviously not there, but Axel was also missing from the group.

Tarakona: "I'll tell you you're wrong! YoU'rE WrOng!"

Aur: "Be mature, Tara!"

Tarakona: "I am! How could any of you say this trip was a disaster?!"

The System silently rejoined with its host. Brian's face scrunched at the sight of an Eevee basically melting into another.

Rin scoffed at Tara's words, speaking before she could.

Rin: "The attack on the boat!"

Tara recoiled. That was a good point.

Tarakona: "Well–"

Blaze: "The whole Groudon thing?"

Tarakona: "That wasn't–"

Frank: "The museum robbery."

The currently smaller Rayquaza shut her mouth. She shrank further, matching how she felt.

Black: "The fight with Zenith."

Lazuli shuddered, recalling the fight.

Lazuli: "I still have nightmares about that..."

Mollie sighed, fidgeting with some of her scruff.

Mollie: "The bathroom incident makes a lot more sense now..."

An unseen eye twitch from Denith. Tarakona held her claws together, unsure of how to respond to all of that.

Tarakona: "...it really has been one bad thing after another, huh?"

Silence overtook the group.

It was surprisingly broken by Leaf of all mons.

Leaf: "This trip... wasn't all bad."

She leaned into Alfred, who stood by her side. She looked up at him with a small smile.

Leaf: "We wouldn't have found each other again if we hadn't gone."

Alfred smiled back. Tarakona looked around, realizing what she could say.

Tarakona: "Yeah... Yeah!"

She grew again, slightly bigger than before.

Tarakona: "If we'd never gone, we'd never have met each other!"

She pointed towards Mollie.

Tarakona: "You never would've found your kids,"

Mollie looked at her three kids, who looked back. Then Tara set her sights on Black.
