Denith: "Well Trace, you've been busy."

Denith was at the lab, going through Trace's notes. Most of the notes were unfinished theories to travel through dimensions.

Trace: "You said you spoke to Palkia right?"

Denith: "Yep. She just went on about what not to do. And one of those things was not opening portals to other worlds, so uhh..."

Trace stopped taking notes to look at Denith, stupefied.

Trace: "That's not helpful in the slightest."

Denith fake gasped, sarcasm dripping from his next words.

Denith: "No, really?"

Trace stared, not amused.

Trace: "...We stopped getting signals from Deomorphs and the other Berserks a little bit ago."

Denith: "Side effects from the memory path laying dormant if I had to guess. But why are Stage 3's still around?"

Trace: "I'm not really sure... From what Flare has said, they're extremely weakened, as if the connection has reached a limit..."

Denith: "Hold on, hear me out."

Trace turned to him, showing he was giving his complete attention.

Denith: "All the missing Pokemon ended up in the human world. So we could assume–"

Trace: "Hold on, how can you know that every single last Pokemon ended up in the human world?"

Denith: "Well, the system told me so."

Trace: "What, is it like- Omnipotent?"

Denith: "No...?"

Trace: "You don't sound very confident in that."

Denith imitated a shrug on four legs.

Denith: "I'm gonna be honest. I have no clue."

Trace: "Seriously?"

Denith: "Anyway, theoretically, what if the connection is weak because somehow, someway, the core of the memory path was also in the human world, along with the rest of the Pokemon?"

Trace thought about it, taking in all the variables.

Trace: "It's possible. If that's the case, maybe Flare could help with opening the portal."

Denith: "Really?"

Trace: "The connection's weak, but it's still there. Just randomly opening a portal could lead to anywhere, but with Flare, maybe we could give it an exact destination."

Denith: "Ooh. I like the way you think."

Trace: "Then there's the main issue..."

Denith: "Wuzzat?"

Trace: "Best talk to my dad about it, he's taking charge of the construction for the portal."

Denith: "Kay."
