In a quaint village in an unknown forest, an Aurorus was sitting on a porch, while a young Vulpix came right behind him.

Vulpix: "Dad, Mom is doing the thing with [Coda] again."

Aurorus: "Again?" *Sigh* "I'll deal with it."

The Aurorus walked into the backyard, where an Alolan Vulpix roughly hit the ground. He curled up in pain.

Coda: "Agh..."

Aurorus: "Hon, he's had enough. You can stop now."

A Ninetales was standing over him, looking very disappointed.

Ninetales: "You can do more. I know you can, so why don't you?"

Coda: "I..."

Aurorus: "I said that's enough. You don't need to train the poor boy; he gets enough of that at school."

The Vulpix helped her brother stand.

Vulpix: "Are you okay?"

Coda: "I'm fine. Thank you [Kara].

Kara: "Anything for my little brother."

Aurorus: "This training isn't doing anything for him, can't you see?"

Ninetales: "But he can do more! He's shown exceptional control over his abilities, but he can't tap into it on command!"

Aurorus: "And you think fighting him repeatedly will bring it out?"

Ninetales: "I just need to push a little harder–"

Aurorus: "You will do no such thing! Not in this house."

The Vulpix siblings had already left the house and were starting to walk toward Sunny Town.

In Sunny town, the Siblings were walking around, making sure to stay close to each other, when...

???: "Look out!"

An Eevee bumped into both of them, knocking all three of them down.

Kara: "Ow, hey!"

Eevee: "Sorry, are you two okay?"

Coda: "We're fine, are you alright?"

Eevee: "Yeah, I'm good."

Kara: "Maybe watch where you're going?"

Coda: "Kara, don't be mean."

Eevee: "It's fine, I should've been looking where I was going..."

???: "[Zach]! Where are you?!"

Eevee: "Over here, mama!"

A Sylveon had turned the corner, a Jolteon with a purple scarf right behind her.
