Everyone was at the table, enjoying a breakfast of fried rice made by Denith and Xi.

Denith: "Enjoy it while it lasts. It might be the last time you ever get to eat it."

Crystal: "Jeez you say that as if you won't be back."

Denith: "I might not. I'm not invincible, just really hard to put down."

Trace: "Do you really have to...?"

Denith: "No one has to do anything. If any of my team decided to stay, I would have no objections."

Tarakona: "Ooh, then can I–"

Denith: "Except you."

Tarakona: "Aww, but why..."

Denith: "You're a ticking time bomb, letting you loose would be a disaster."

Tarakona: "I'm not a bomb!"

Denith: "I'm only playing, you can do whatever."

Tarakona: *Pouts* "Well now I don't wanna leave you behind..."

Alfred: "I think I'm gonna stay with my daughters. I need a bit more time..."

Denith: "Understandable. Xi, Aur?"

Aur: "We've stuck with you this far. Might as well."

Xi: "I don't even have anywhere else to go."

Denith: "That's... We'll work on that."

Speed: "Do you even know where this 'Secret Base' is?"

Denith: "According to an extremely reliable source, they're under Alpha Tower."

Frank: "You mean the really tall building at the island's center?"

Denith: "Yuh-huh. Who would've guessed that they would be hiding under their worst enemy?"

Aur: "Let me guess: 'A Functional Government'?"

Denith: "Wow, guessing punchlines are we?"

Xi sighed, gazing towards the banter between Denith and Aur.

Xi: 'I want things to stay like this... For as long as possible...'

Frank: "Is everyone ready?"

The group was now outside, everyone, minus The Inverted, was all packed.

Brian: "Yup."

Frank: "Did you close everything, Pearl?"

Pearl: "All closed up."

Denith: "All right, guess this is see you later. If we're done fast enough, we'll meet you guys on the boat."

Denith attempted to open another portal only to curse to himself as he remembered he couldn't.

Denith: "Tara, we need another ride..."
