At Rescue HQ...

Trace, now a Luxray is seen looking at a wall with a few jobs posted on it.

Trace: "Hmmm."

Denith walks into the HQ quickly finding Trace in his usual spot.

Denith: "Hey Trace! What we doin' today?"

Trace: "Hey man, I'm trying to figure out what order we should do the jobs in."

Denith: "Just pick a job. Do it, come back, then pick another."

Trace: "Yeah but we could rescue more people efficiently if we pick out jobs and place them from easiest to hardest."

Denith stared at the board for a moment, then turned back to his friend.

Denith: "Sounds legit. I'll let you do your thing. I'll just uh... do something."

4 minutes later...

Trace: "This should be the best way to make use of time."

Trace turns around to look for Denith who is right behind him. Making him jump from the closeness.

Trace: "Oh. You came back at the perfect time."

Denith: "Oh, I never left. What we doing first chief?"

Trace: "Helping deliver items to a new shopkeeper in town."

Denith: "Sounds easy enough. Though, wouldn't it be better to help the people in danger first?"

Trace: "That... Does sound better. Ugh, let me re-"!

Denith rips a job off the wall.

Denith: "Yoink. Alright let's go."

Trace deadpanned, all his hard work going to waste.

Trace: "Or we can just do that."

Trace and Denith are walking through a mystery dungeon without any care for who they run into.

Trace: "We've gotten so much stronger these past weeks, especially you. You've gotten way stronger man!"

Denith: "I don't even need the gadgets I used to use anymore, course ill still use them from time to time."

...

Denith: "Hey speaking of actually. *Denith pulls his boost gear* Trace, I think you should have these."

Trace:  "Woah for real?"

Denith: "Yup."

Trace: "But I-"

Denith: "No buts. I don't need them anymore."

Trace: "I was gonna say I'm making my own at the lab. Did you forget who made the prototype?"

Denith: "Oh... Right." 'Probably should've seen that one coming.'
