ES:DE Chapter 32 Arc 5: The System. (PT 2)

Quick warning, this chapter gets pretty fucked. I'd say what, but spoilers are no fun, then you'll be looking out for it!

Axels eyes slowly opened, the first thing he saw was white fur speed towards him. He was completely awoken as Denith picked him up.

Denith: "One Axel fully recovered!"

Axel looked down at his body, indeed, he was fully recovered. His ears dropped as he remembered what exactly he recovered from...

Bolt was the first to go down. A single hit from Rex's Bone Rush was enough to take him down.

Blaze and Brian fought back, and were taken out with relative ease. Axel witnessed all three turn into most and get sucked into odd orbs Rex had pulled out his bag.

Axel knew there was no chance of winning this fight, he had to get help, Alfred came to his mind first, the Arcanine was on the floor above them after all.

He ran for the door, only to be stopped by Rex stomping on his neck, Rex had started calling for Rin. Knowing she was hiding somewhere.

Axel was blacking out. Rex noticed and lifted his leg off Axels neck. Axel gasped for air, feeling it leave him moments later as Rex's Aura Bone met his gut.

Rex once more called for Rin, claiming dire punishment if she didn't come out. Nothing was heard.

Axels pleas were silenced by the ensuing beat down.

Tears had made themselves known on Axel's face.

Axel: "I... don't feel fully recovered..."

Denith frowned, looking angry at something... Or someone.

Denith: "Fully recovered, physically. Got it."

The door burst open, Rin snatching Axel from Denith and holding him close.

Rin: "Axel! I'm s-so sorry!"

Axel didn't respond, simply enjoying his mother's embrace.

Denith: "Alright. I'm tired of all of this."

Denith turned around towards a shadow.

Axel: "What are you doing?"

Denith: "What I should've done from the start."

Denith hopped into the shadow.

Blaziken was being pushed down by Pearl's psychic, yet through sheer will, she managed to stand, her face stained with her own blood.

Blaziken: "Now, I'm pissed."

Her wrists caught flames, and she prepared to use Flamethrower. Alfred caught sight of this, jumping in front of Pearl and Kamran.

Blue flames shot from Blaziken's maw, enough to scorch the cement ground and any greenery around. Alfred took the brunt of the attack, but Pearl and Kamran still felt the heat of the flames.
