Speed lay upon a soft cushion, sleeping, as one does. Denith is seen walking into the room with a cup of water. Denith splashes the water on the poor Eevee's face without warning.

Speed: "Gah! Cold, Cold! Dude, why do you insist on doing this to me?!"

He shivers as Denith places the cup onto the floor.

Denith: "Because you won't get up and water is the most effective way so far."

He raises a brow at the sopping wet Eevee.

Denith: "You wouldn't want to get woken up by Crystal, would you?"

Another shiver goes down Speed's spine, but not from the cold.

Speed: "Ugh, don't remind me."

Denith: "Now come down-stairs before Crystal starts eating the cupboards."

Speed: *Sigh* "Why doesn't she just pick her own berries...?"

Denith shrugs.

Denith: "Dunno, why can't you get up on your own?"

Speed: "There's a huge difference between those two things."

Denith nods indifferently, not caring for his opinion.

Denith: "Yeah, cool. Now come down and help me pick some berries for Crystal."

Speed groans but follows him downstairs anyway. Crystal could be heard shouting at the two to hurry up.

Crystal and Flare were eating at the only intact table in the house, seeing off their friend and brother.

Speed: "We're going now. See you later!"

Flare: "Big bro, please be careful."

Speed brushes off Flare's concerns. Hammering it home with a smile.

Speed: "You don't have to worry about me, I'm always careful."

Denith stares knowingly.

Denith: 'Straight up lie but aight.' "We'll be back later!"

After Speed closes the door, him and Denith, hop up to the roof, and grab their equipment.

The pair of Eevee's reach a familiar building, Trace sleeping upright near the mission board.

Denith: "Hey, Trace!" 'Did he fall asleep reading the board?'

Speed: "Sorry we're late."

Trace snapped awake, looking back at the two with a light glare.

Trace: "Finally! What took you guys so long?"

Denith snickered, ruffling the top of Speed's head with a paw.

Denith: "I wanted to let this one try to wake up on his own, but you can probably guess how that went."
