"Just like every person needs a closure after they get out of a relationship, every story deserves its closure - epilogue.
Ana couldn't go back to her love, because she wanted to stay for her life and career. They say it is difficult to make a choice between career and love, I say, choose what your heart yearns; don't ever compromise, true and strong love can make its way barricading everything in between. She lived with her choice and she didn't regret it."

I stopped typing, saved the draft, mailed it to my publisher. I stretched my fingers, it was a long night, after a month of writers block. I was able to finish my novel. To celebrate the completion of my novel, I took out a wine glass from my kitchen cabinet and red wine bottle from the refrigerator, I poured the red wine in the glass and took a sip. It tasted like a chill, sweet frozen liquid.

Enjoying the cool air, standing in the balcony, having wine made me go through memories of the reunion. Speaking of which, let's do their life check shall we.

My best friend Saroo aka Sarah Mehra got married to Aditya Desai, her childhood nemesis turned husband/lover. She is leading a happy married life just like she hoped and news flash, they are about to welcome a baby. Sarah is now the managing director of the bank she works in, Aditya has taken over the executive chief of his father's company, we all believed that the ownership would pass to the heir of the conglomerate, Aditya believed that he wasn't worthy of that position and he would work hard and earn that position.

Alia Mehra is an event plus PR manager in Bollywood, Veer Aryan who is now an A list actor, is now dating Alia, his teenage crush. They say love happens only once in life, look closer, it can many times as you want. It hits several roads to find the right one.

Divya Raval took a hiatus from her career to manage her family, after she had another child with her husband. She is doing great in her fashion business.

Jai Dixit has achieved a milestone, he has done numerous collaborations with NASA scientists, he is one of the reputed scientists of the ISRO, he has contributed to the recent space project too. He also runs a NGO, helping slum people, orphan kids. If I have to say who is the most successful among us, I'd say Jai. He not only got wealth, he also got a golden heart. He has found love of his life, she works in his NGO. They recently got engaged, last night I liked his post.

Ishaan Bhagat is still a software engineer, that's not it. He has invented various software programs, that all digital applications require. He had got several offers from foreign companies to join them. He declined, stating that his country needs him. He had an arranged marriage right after Sarah and Aditya's wedding, I mean people find weird to do arrange marriage in today's time, he wasn't hesitant.

Siya Shergill is now the owner of various are galleries in the city. She conducts art exhibitions and creates artwork to please your visual senses. It was last month, I visited her art gallery and also bought a painting of two souls conjoined in the midst of nature, which I have hung in my living room. She is dating her best friend turned girlfriend, she is bisexual she came out few years back. She had been since her teenage days, we never noticed.

Arjun Thapar is a music director, he has sung some Bollywood songs too. He decided to chose the closest destination of his dream to stay near me.
And I left my previous job, and started working on a novel, I've published four novels, two of them was bestseller, two were flops. I am hoping  best for this one. Also, I am writing screenplay for web series and movies now.

My love life isn't empty as I thought it would be. After few crushes, Arjun became my first boyfriend I ever had, decided to change our routes not our destination. We are dating for seven years now, my mother insisted me to get married, it is not healthy for a woman to do a late marriage, blah...blah..blah.

Guess what, we are doing another  reunion tomorrow, and the occasion is just reunion with the same old friends.

The doorbell rang, I turned around, exited the balcony. I made my way to the door and unlocked it. My boyfriend made his appearance with a fleeing smile, he entered the apartment, kept his bag and car keys on the kitchen counter attached to the living room.

"So, any updates on the novel?" He poured water in the glass and chugged it down.

"Yup" I nodded, he was waiting for my answer, I kept a disappointed look on my face to tease him and then put a bright smile "I did it"

He put down the glass and captured me in a hug. The warmth of his embrace, not the foul smell of sweat, please.

I too away my arms, looking at him, I said, "You need a shower babe"

"I know" He tucked my hair strand behind my ear, he placed a kiss on my forehead, "Congratulations on completing your fifth novel. Wait till it becomes a blockbuster"

I blushed and nudged his shoulder, "I could only wish. Anyways, don't forget about our friends reunion tomorrow"

He feigned a dramatic look, "Oh my God, I don't even remember"

"Not funny" As I hit his shoulder again .

We booked a hotel in the city, where we decided to meet. Having our dinner and long night conversations about life was totally our thing.

"Hey guys, you wanna know what I think?" Arjun said

We exchanged glances and shook our head.

"We should go on a trip somewhere" Arjun said excitedly, waiting for our reactions, not like what he expected and presumed

Divya slurped the soup making noise, and blank looks on everyone faces.

"Listen Arjun, the plan is nice, but do you really think it's a good idea" Ishaan tried to confirm

"I get it Arjun, what you are trying to say" Aditya proceeded, "He means that we all are on a break now and we should go and have fun somewhere, for old times sake"

Siya exhaled and poured herself another drink, "The thing is, it isn't like old times. We all have our lives; family, job."

"That's what he meant Siya" Sarah interrupted, "I mean, guys, don't you want a break from your lives, to create memories and have fun."

"Yeah, I miss the times, for how long, you guys will be stuck in that busy life loop. Take a break and have some fun, you guys" Alia supported

There were some who didn't want to come to the trip, I can tell it from the faces; Divya, Siya, Jai. "It's okay, if you don't wanna come. We will do it another time"

"No it's fine" Divya said with a glum face, "We don't know when it will be another time, we are going"

Siya and Jai agreed with her, and there it was, our another reunion. I never imagined we would be thos close for years, going on trip. But look at how things turned out, those ten people from my tenth grade are a part of my life now. Also, who would have thought I would be dating the guy, I had a terrible crush in tenth grade.

I entwined my palm with Arjun's and peered at his dark orbs and smiled at each other.
