they were all saying goodbye. 
el, will, jonathan and joyce were leaving for california.
y/n hugged will and let her tears fall from her eyes.
"i'm gonna miss you." he whispered.
"i'm gonna miss you more." she cried.
he placed his chin on her head.
"come on, will!" jonathan called.
wills eyes watered and he hugged y/n tighter.
"goodbye." he whispered.
she let out a small sob.
"bye."
he walked into jonathans car and they drove off. 
y/n ran back into her house, and mike followed.
everyone else left.
mike walked into her room and saw she was hugging a pillow on her bed as she cried.
"y/n?"
she sniffed.
"hey mike."
"how are you doing?"
"well, my boyfriend moved to california, so not well." she pressed her lips together.
mike walked over to her and sat next to her on the bed.
"mike, i miss him." she whimpered.
"i know, i know."
she let out sobs and leaned her head on his chest.
while he stroked a hand through her hair, he wrapped his other arm around her. ((THEY ARE BEST FRIENDS NOT DATING))
as she let out louder and louder sobs, he laid down and let her cry.
he was hugging her, and reassuring her that he was there, and he wasn't going to leave.
"mike?"
"yeah?"
"thank you." she sniffed
"as long as we are best friends, i will always be there for you. i will never leave you alone like this."
"promise?" she says in a whisper.
"promise."
they stay in their position for a while, as y/n falls asleep in mike's arms.
