"oof!" she groaned.

dustin helped her up and they waited for eddie to get out.

"eddie?" dustin yelled.

he cut the curtains and it fell into dustins hands.

"eddie!!" y/n yelled.

"come on, we have to help him!" she cried.

"well, we can't really do that when we CANT GET BACK INTO THE UPSIDE DOWN, Y/N." dustin yelled.

"well then let's fucking try, because EDDIE IS NOT DYING TODAY." she yelled back.

they spent time fixing it up to get back.

TIME SKIP

the two teens ran out. they ran to where they saw a swarm of bats.

"oh, god, eddie." y/n gasped.

"eddie!" the two yelled in unision.

y/n fell on her knees by her boyfriend.

"eddie?" she sobbed.

"baby.. i didn't run this time." eddie said softly.

"oh, god." dustin cried.

"eddie." he gasped.

y/n was sobbing into eddie.

"oh, god, eddie!" she cried.

"you know, i think it's my year." eddie gasped.

"eddie!" both y/n and dustin yelled.

eddie took his last breaths in his girlfriends arms.

"no, no, eddie." she sniffed.

dustin cried into his hands.

she let out a scream of pain.

"eddie.." dustin whimpered.

y/n had tears stained onto her face, her throat felt raw when she screamed.

"please. eddie. eddie, wake up, please." she sobbed.

as the two cried into eddie, everyone was fighting something.

"y/n.. we need to go."

"no! i'm not leaving him."
