I woke up arouse. No one can really blame me for it since Cherry snuggles closer to me naked. She let out a moan as she buried her face on my chest and I felt myself twitch in excitement. Her scent was now stronger and more alluring and addictive.
Mates who didn’t finish mating after the marking while always have the urge to finish the mating ritual. Both partners will suffer of the need to mate and the people around them.
Female ‘were’ will have a chaotic hormones that will drive unmated werewolf and the worst part is, even the female ‘were’ will be slightly affected by it but a male ‘were’ will drive them crazy.
As for us male ‘were’ there is no change in our smell or hormones. We can walk around a room filled with unmated werewolves and none of them will drive them into a sex-maniac.
I looked down at Cherry who still peacefully asleep and by the looks of it she’s dreaming as her eyes continue to move under her eyelids. Just watching sleep was enough for me but not good enough to settle my bothered mind.
Since I woke up something had been bothering me and it gets me even more frustrated by just thinking about it. Whatever it is that’s been bothering me, it just at the tip of my head but I still can’t pin-point what it is exactly and with Cherry constantly moving beside me, it’s harder to even concentrate.
Sighing, I gently moved away her away from me as I got out of bed. I took a quick shower before heading to the kitchen where I saw a few male wolves that I haven’t met but they were all sitting around the table stiffly except one person, Eddie.
“Morning.” I greeted, a lot of them just nod their head while Eddie laugh.
“Morning Brian!” He greeted back between laughs. “Don’t mind them. They’re like that because the can smell your mate’s scent on you, that’s all.”
That was all he needs to say for me to get where he is going with this. “Sorry.” I mumble and headed to kitchen. “I’ll make her some lunch and I’ll be out of this room in no time.”
I know exactly how they feel. An old friend of mine who use to be in Crescent pack – unfortunately, now lived with his mate at a different pack – had marked his mate but didn’t finish mating as they were interrupted when we were called during an emergency.
We were all in the living room that time and as soon as he hit the bottom step of the stair we sit stiffly, fighting the urge. He took a shower to take off her scent but it was no use. The scent clings to him for dear life and in the end we have to send him back to his mate as the scent continues to distract us.
Even the group of witches who was staying at our pack at the time was affected and there were three male there with half blood was having difficulty fighting their desire. That’s why we knew how it feels like and it took us a couple more incidents to actually be able to control ourselves with ease.
Eddie’s laughter broke me out of the daze and finally realise I was done cooking. I looked down at the tray in front of me and frown. Somehow, I manage to make cook a dozen of hot dogs, reheat six waffles, half-boiled an egg and grabbed made two herbal tea.
“I’ll be going now.” I said as I past the dinning room and I couldn’t help but mentally laugh as I heard them sigh in relief as I step out of the room and up to our bedroom.
When I opened the door, Cherry wasn’t sleeping anymore and the sound of shower had filled the room. “I got us some breakfast.” I announce as I put the tray down on the coffee table.
I open my mouth to say more but I was yank back and pushed onto the sofa with Cherry cradling me between her leg with only a towel on and breathing heavily. A few drops of water from her hair fell on my face and I knew she was having a very cold shower.
