Two weeks had passed but things seem to be still hectic. The hunters had been spotted around our territory and we have to make sure that everyone are safe and no hunters can get pass the through our security. Nathan even installed knew CCTV here and there just so he can sure that no one did pass the security.

In those pass weeks I never seen Brian nor Alex and it sad to say that I miss them so much that sometimes I’m tempted to ditch my shift just to see them or even one of them.

Today was my first day off from my shift and I volunteer to make dinner with Emma who is very worried as we continue to cook. To have my day off, Nathan has to step in and even though it was Emma’s idea to give me a day off she still can’t help worry. “I wonder if Nathan ate yet.” She mumbles

I nod my head now and again. Lately I had been feeling strange, my constant mood swing and my sudden change of food. I have been eating food I rarely eat or things I’ll occasionally.

“What’s wrong?” Emma said pulling me out of my thought.

“Nothing.” I said honestly but Emma still looked at me with slit eyes. Emma then took a long sniff of the air before her eyes went wide and start pulling me. “What are you doing?” I ask surprise.

Emma pulled me to the office and closes the door; she looked at me up and down before asking how I was feeling. I told her I feel fine but she seems like she is not convince. “I’m calling Nathan.” She said and before I can stop her, I knew she already had a hold on him.

Ten minutes later, Nathan walks in the office looking alert. “What’s wrong?” He asks as he closes the door behind him. Emma didn’t say anything but I knew she was talking to him through the mind link as Nathan nod before sniffing the air before looking at me in shock expression. I watch as he walks around his table and told me to sit down. “Are you pregnant?”

“What!” I yelled as I bolt up from my chair.

“Your scent is slowly changing just like when Emma got pregnant.” Nathan explains before looking at Emma who nods her head. “We know you are mark and if we are not under constant attack everyone will be all over you asking who mark you especially Athena but our hands are full at the moment.”

“Do you want to talk about it?” Emma said. I knew it’s no use to lie to her, Emma knew me well enough if something is bothering me or if I’m hiding something. She’s like a sister that I never had.

I sigh and sat back down. “I guess that explain my random craving but I guess its Brian’s child.”

“You guess?” Nathan asks confuse.

I frown at this and remember the day Brian marked me but was able to hold himself to mate with me and the consequence of not finishing the mating, I start to doubt what happen with me and Alex but the symptoms should had should a week after the mating. But my time with Brian didn’t show until these two days ago.

“I think I mate with Alex too.” I watch as Nathan and Emma looked at me like I grown another head on the spot. “But the symptom didn’t show until two days ago.”

“I’ll call the pack doctor.” Nathan said and I couldn’t help but panic. If words get out that she’s pregnant, things will get more complicated between the three of us. “Don’t worry, I’ll ask him to keep things between us.” I eyed him but still nod my head. I wanted answer too but I wasn’t sure about this. “I know it’s a bit late but is it possible to see you?” Nathan nod and before saying “Thank you!”

Emma and I followed Nathan to the car and quickly drive us to the pack doctor’s house who greeted us as after we rang the bell. He’s a nice man and I visit him a lot of time when I was training with broken bones.

“Nathan, Emma and Cherry! What can I do for you?” He said as soon as he saw us. He step aside as we step in.

“We need you to make an oath first that you won’t tell a soul what we are about to ask you to do.” Nathan said which Emma and I let him do the talking.

“Of course! Anything for you alpha!” He said and continues, “I owe my life!”

Nathan looked at me and then the pack doctor and said “I need you to perform a pregnancy test.” The pack doctor looked at Emma happily and Nathan must have notice this. “Not on my mate but Cherry.”

“Cherry?” He suddenly asks surprise.

“Will explain later but will you be able to determine the date of her pregnancy?”

“Of course, of course.” He then moved to his table and hand me a small bottle and he didn’t need to tell me what I need to do as I grab the bottle and sprint to the toilet. When I came out he took the bottle and walk into another room.

“You nervous?” Emma asks.

“Slightly.” I said honestly.

We waited for a few what seems to be twenty minutes when the pack doctor finally comes out with a deep frown. “Is there something wrong?” Nathan asks.

“Well I can tell you Cherry that you are pregnant but…” He trailed off before looking at me with very confuse look. “I can’t seem to tell when it started. I done the test over and over again to make sure that I didn’t made a mistake but they all came out the same.” He said as he hands me the results and just like he said all result was the same. It says I’m pregnant but not the date.

“How can that be possible?” Emma asks grabbing the results out of my hand and flip through the page after page. I saw the pack doctor shrug his shoulder and slouch his shoulder forward.

“Thank you anyway.” I said grateful for the time he gave us. “I guess the only way we can get some answer is to talk to my parents.” I sigh and looked at the pack doctor again. “Thank you again.”

We step out with Nathan and Emma following me. “Are you sure about this?” Nathan asks.

I nod my head. “If the pack doctor can’t identify why my result is not complete, my parents will know the answer.”

I excuse myself as soon as we got back before Nathan told Emma he needs to go back and do his patrol. I took the piece of paper and wrote to my parents what had happen and ask if they know what to do or what’s going on. I then put it in the envelope before walking to the forest while making sure no one will see me. I left the envelope with an arrow stuck it on a dead tree.

That tree had been here for years, according to Nathan and Arvin but the tree never bloom and they never bothered to get the tree off because to them it was something unique in their territory or what theTylersaid.

I knew one of the Luna members will get it when I step away from it. I know that my parents and the pack will not let me go without people who will watch over me. To make sure I am safe and no one will try to kill me. But all I care about is finding out who is the father of my child.

I decide to be cheeky! Hehe Why?

You see, I finish typing/writing the rest of the chapters of Destined. Like to the end chapters and all I have to do is post it. But I thought why post everyday and what do I get in return?

That’s when I thought and this is the truth. When you all vote for the chapter I post, I feel very happy and more motivated to post stories and continue writing. So now I decide that if I receive 10 votes to the recent chapter I post, I’ll upload the next one BUT if I don’t you have to wait on Monday or Friday for upload and for rare case, weekends.

Basically I’m leaving the decision on when you want the next chapter to be uploaded. But remember, I’m not uploading on the same day. If I receive 10 votes on the day I uploaded a chapter, I’ll upload the next one the day after (8am - 12pm UK time zone).
