“Actually, you can wear a dress or a skirt today but bring a change of clothes for tomorrow but no dress, skirt or heels.” Alex said as he stops at the door with the dirty plates.

I nod my head and Alex left after. I jump out of the bed and head to my room grabbing my gym bag on my way to my wardrobe. I quickly pack a jean and my most decent tee-shirt, two matching underwear and my denim playsuit.

I then quickly jump in the shower, my mind pre-occupied with all the thoughts that recently happen. Alex changed and it is obvious to everyone that his trying his hard to make it up for rejecting me.

The girls that used to cling to him like his honey and they’re bees are now whispering on how much he changed and how much they hate me for taking him away from me. But doesn’t mean I was afraid.

I trust Alex and I know he’ll understand but I still can’t tell him that I made up my mind, well I did until recently.

I came home with the thought that I will accept Brian as my mate but after seeing the two, I didn’t have the heart to tell one of them about my decision not to mention, I realise how much I was falling for Alex the more I spent time with him.

Now I stood under the running water, confuse once again and in my own little world not until I pick up Alex’s scent.

“Cherry?”

“In here!” I said as I grab my towel off the hook.

He chuckles and I can already imagine him shaking his head. “I guess you are not ready yet.” No shit Sherlock! I thought. “I’ll come back in half an hour then.”

“Make it fifteen!” I yelled as I dry myself.

“See you in a bit then!” He said and the next thing I knew I heard the door click in place.

I quickly got dress picking my cream halter neck dress that reach mid-thigh and matching it up with my cream pair of flat shoes. I didn’t bother with makeup but apply some lip balm before drying my hair and braiding into a side braid.

By the time Alex enters my room, I was ready and anxious. “Let’s go!” I said as I throw my gym bag at him. He catches it with ease just before it hit his face. He gave me a head shake but didn’t say anything but I knew he was amused by my action.

“We’ll head to the park first.” Alex announce as he put his and mine stuff at the back seat of his car. “Then by one we need to be in the road to make it in time.” I nod my head but didn’t say anything.

I was one of those people who get more anxious if an answer isn’t given and I didn’t want to use any of my powers on him anymore. I trust him.

The ride to the park only took half an hour due to traffic but it normally just a ten minutes drive. Alex found it difficult to find a parking due to the amount of cars today. The circus was in town and practically everyone is here.

It happens every year to the point it become a tradition. All the local stores will close today to welcome the circus. They were rides for all ages, food stands, game stands, etc.
