“Come on! I always want to go there!” I beg again.
“No! You’ll just buy the most ridiculous thing again and then you’ll realise you don’t have enough money to pay for it! Again!”
“But this time, I promise I won’t buy anything! I just want to see the place and look around!”
“That’s what you said the last time!”
“I’m serious this time! You have my word!”
“You gave me your words so many times but it all ends the same! So tell me how this one is any different?”
“Can’t you just trust my words?”
“No!” Brian said. I knew he was fooling around when he said those words but I couldn’t help but feel hurt. We been having this argument since dinner last night and it seems like he was actually set on not bringing me to Tiffany’s.
Brian and I glare at each other, waiting for the other one to back down when a group of giggling and chuckles made both of us look our side. We were already in the dinning hall with the rest of the pack living here were already sat down.
Last night we learn that beside the Alpha and the Beta as well as their mate lives here, there were also teenagers and kids living here. They were the one who lost their homes or guardians during a fight or an attack. It was hurt breaking hearing it from Eddie how they kids suffer so much.
Last night Eddie mention to us that three siblings lost not only their parents but also their older brother who could have taken care of them as he was old enough to be their guardian was also killed during an attack a year ago. But now, you wouldn’t even think they lost so much. Brian and I came to a conclusion that these kids are brave and would make excellent warriors someday. They were able to move on and never plot of any revenge.
“Just bring her to Tiffany’s. It can’t be that bad?” Alexis said giggling.
“I know right!” Sherish said nodding her head.
“You have no idea.” Brian mumbles earning another laughs from everyone as he sat down next to Jack while I took the seat next to him andVenice. I elbowed him and gave him a pointed look before letting out a sigh of defeat. “Fine but if you decide to buy anything I won’t pay for it.”
“Deal!” I said excitedly.
After breakfast, I quickly rush to our room and got a quick shower and nearly land of my face as I step out of the shower from a sudden wave of jetlag. “My god.” I mumble as I balance myself.
I walked out of the bathroom with only a towel wrap around me and nearly smirk when I saw Brian dropped everything on his hands at the corner of my eyes. Pretending I didn’t see him, I walk to my suitcase which were opposite from where he was standing, I bent down giving him a perfect few of my ass. Okay, I lied. I was wearing knickers and strapless bra but hey it did make him gulp loudly before scrambling to the bathroom.
I frown and continue getting dress. I guess my plan didn’t work. I thought as I slip on my short. Last night, I promise myself that I will do anything to seduce Brian but so far nothing was working. I had slept on my most sexy lingerie which in my opinion seems to be as good as being naked but that didn’t work, at all.
By the time Brian finish his shower, he was so caution to step out of the bathroom. He practically looked around the room and when he saw me wrap in clothes and doing my makeup he sigh in relief and steps out.
The nerve! I thought annoyed before drying my hair.
I knew I look stupid as I ogling at the entire display of sparkling jewellery. Brian had even joke that I was drooling a few minutes ago when I was eyeing this necklace. There was something about the necklace and as strange as it sound it seems to be calling me. Either that or I just really like the neck lace but I stayed there looking at it for what seems to be hours but it was only ten minutes. I would know because Brian joked about it as well.
