I woke up at from a familiar feeling. My mom was sitting beside me with worried look. "I need to see Brian." I whisper, my voice croak. Mom nods her head and helps me get up. I felt weak and light headed but I desperately need to see Brian.

Dad found out halfway through the halfway and looked at us with confuse look. I felt too weak to even talk so I steal a glance at my mom who got my message and look at dad. "She needs to see Brian." Dad still looked confuse but he never question me. Instead he carried me down the flight of stair and only put me down in front of the office. "We'll wait for you in your room." Mom said and I nod my head.

I knock and slowly open the door but everyone seems to be in their own thought to even realise I was now in the room. Arvin was sat next to Brian who looked shattered. "What's wrong?" Arvin asks as he took a double take at Brian.

"I heard her say that she's pregnant and Alex happen to be the father." Brian said. I notice Nathan and Emma shared a quick worried glance. "How can she know that it she's pregnant with Alex's baby?" Brian said and groans moment later. "I felt like she just rejected me."

"How can you say that?" I demand angrily. Brian jump off his seat and look at me in shock along with everyone else in the room but they remain in their seat.

Right there, I knew what the familiar feeling I felt is. It was the feeling of being rejected by your own mate. I felt it before when Alex...my chest tighten at the thought of Alex.

A sob escape my mouth and in an instant Brian was by my side. As soon as our skin touches, I couldn't help but cry. Brian pulled me closer to him as he rub circles on my back. He didn't say anything but I was just happy to be in his arms. He let me cry and Emma offers me some tissues as well.

When I finally calm down, Brian scoop me off the floor and sat down with me sitting on his lap and my head resting on his shoulder blade. One of his arm were wrap around my waist securely while the other one were drawing circle on the palm of my hand.

"Your father was here a few moments ago." Nathan said quietly. "He explains what happen back there but..." He trail off and from the steal glance I gave him, I saw him look at Brian and hesitate to continue. "But your father said, you have to explain the rest which I'm guessing is related to the child in your womb."

My body tense up and so did Brian but he act like it didn't affect him at all. I guess I can't hide it any longer. I thought with sigh. I look at Brian. "My parents came here to help me figure out who is the father of the child." I began. "Unfortunately, they didn't help much but I learn a lot."

"If its Alex's child shouldn't the symptom already showed when we were inNew York?" Brian asks. "I shouldn't be able to touch you as well. A pregnant werewolf never let any other male touch her except her mate."

"I don't know about that but the symptom didn't show up until recently and we went to the pack doctor and there was no result for the time. I know it have something to do with being a Hemmings but there are still a lot of things that they haven't told me directly. Everything they tell me are always in riddles for me to figure out myself but sometimes it's too late.

My parents said that only time will tell and I would just know who the father of the child I was carrying is. Like they said, I just knew it was Alex." I said and fight the sob that tried to escape. "Remember when my parents told me that 'Only one can be saved when you tie to that one you choose'." I ask.
