"What?" Cherry asks surprise before looking at the guy I'm pointing to. "No!" She said. Cherry looked around and notice people looking at us. She grabs my shoulder and drags me out to the front-yard. "I can't help you anymore, Tiffany. Things had changed."

"What do you mean things have changed?" I yelled.

"They just changed and I can't explain it because its really complicated. You wouldn't even understand." Cherry said pinching the bridge of her nose.

"Then make it uncomplicated!" I was getting more annoyed as I talk to her. I just didn't understand why she refuses to hook me up with Alex. "Why are you being selfish?"

Cherry looked at me with murderous glare and I couldn't help but tremble in fear. "Selfish? I'm being selfish? Are you sure I'm the one being selfish here? You broke Alex heart when you used him even though he is willing to love you and your child. He knew the child wasn't his the moment you told him, but he still love you and what did you do? Tell me Tiffany what did you do?" She yelled. I used him. I thought but glares at Cherry.

I was ready to yell at her even though I was still shaking in fear but I was stop by I voice I recognise. His voice was different, it was deeper and a bit husky but it was still the same voice that sends shivers down my spine. "Tiffany?" Alex said.

Cherry POV

I froze on my spot as I felt Alex's present coming near me. Tiffany glares at me but her hands and knees were trembling uncontrollably. She opens her mouth to say something but stop and avert her eyes at Alex who was now standing behind me. "Tiffany?" Alex said in surprise. "What's going on here?" He asks and I can feel his gaze on me.

I turn around and force a smile. "Nothing" I force my voice not to crack. I didn't know why but my heart felt tight that moment and all I want to do was cry especially when Tiffany run to Alex and embrace him.

Alex only stood there in shock under Tiffany's embrace. "I had been looking for you!" Tiffany said. No that was a lie. I thought but I couldn't bring myself to say those words. "When I left, I realise I was wrong. What I did to you was wrong and I realise, I was in love with you not Jack but I couldn't find you."

They are all lies! I yelled in my head as I hyperventilate. Alex notices my distress and quickly pushed Tiffany away from him. "Are you alright?" He holds me close to him but it wasn't helping. I couldn't breathe properly. He tilts my head to look at his and we gaze each other eye to eye. "Cherry, I want you to focus on my voice, okay?" I nod my head, clenching my chest. "I want you to follow my lead." He said as he takes deep breaths and I did the same focusing on his breaths. "Good" He said as I notice my chest felt less tight.

"Thank you." I said and Alex kisses my forehead.

Alex places his hand on my waist and said to Tiffany. "Leave, you are not welcome here." He said the word so calmly but his tone said he was dead serious. When I looked over my shoulder, I saw Tiffany standing there in shock and I couldn't help felt a bit guilty.

"I'm alright now Alex. Thank you." I said. Alex let his gaze linger on my face, like he was studying it. He sighs before kissing my forehead again and walking to whoever was yelling his name again and again.

I woke up the next day with a headache, others might be waking up from a hangover but I was waking up from very little sleep. I drag myself downstairs and into the kitchen when a note on the fridge caught my attention.

It was a message from Alex and Brian that they clean as much as they can and apologising for not cleaning all of it due to has no time for work. I smile at the thought that they did what they can.
