Hello readers!
I know the previous chapter is a bit disappointing but this time, I brain storm some ideas from the first story (Hidden Truth) and this story and came up with what you are about to read and for future chapters.
A reminder to all readers, that this story is the second book/story of Hidden Truth. If you notice, secrets or truths are still being revealed because it is still connected to the first story, so prophecies or event from the first stories will still be applied to this story.
If you got any other question please comment below or if you want a more private conversation, please don’t hesitate to message me.
I hope you all enjoy!
P.S. this will be in Cherry’s view
P.P.S. Click on the person who is dedicated on this chapter and give her story a chance. It's called Finding Myself.

If the situation wasn’t serious I would be laughing my heads off at the sight of Alex. He sat next to his mum, dumbstruck with his mouth hanging open and practically frozen into place. Alex is obviously going under a shock but Mr Taylor or Mr Wilkinson seems oblivious that his son needs time to sink in what he is saying, either that or he is an ignorant man.
“Being a beta to the Hemmings long ago was a big responsibility and our ancestor made a blood oath to protect them as what their beta power can do but when werewolves start popping out practically all over the world and want nothing but to join the most powerful pack, things got out of hand.
The late Alpha Emilio and along with the elders of the Hemmings went under go a meeting that last months to decide what to do with the increasing numbers of members. There result was to split the pack into half.
Alpha Emilio didn’t anyone else leading the pack so he sent his most trust-worthy person he knows, the late Francisco, our ancestor. Of course he was hesitant to take the position, not because he doubts his skill to lead a pack but the oak they made long ago.
In the end, he accepts and that’s how we become an alpha of the Midnight pack. The pack members at that time are the one who wants to join the Hemmings while the Hemmings stayed as the old members only but time to time the Midnight pack will allocate a family to the Hemmings when the alpha and the elders agree to accept them.” He finally finishes.
I can tell that all of this was making Alex feels overwhelm. I run to his side and place my hand on his as I kneel in front of him. This seems to calm him down as he looks at me. “Focus on your breathing.” I said quietly and Alex did what I say until he finally has control over his emotion but that doesn’t mean he let go of my hand.
“Besides being the old beta of the Hemmings, what’s that have to do with our ancestor?” Alex asks, confuse. “Why are we so dedicated to protect them to the point of making a blood oath with them?”
Mr and Mrs Taylor or Wilkinson gaps and looked at Alex in horror. Mr Wilkinson was the first one to recover and glares at his son. “Show some respect, Alexander! It’s been an honour to serve the Hemmings. They had offered us many things that you could imagine.”
Alex glares back at his father. I knew he was still confused but I know he didn’t mean to disrespect the Hemmings. When I looked at my parents to see how they took the scene in front of them, I couldn’t help but let my mouth drop. They were amused at what’s happening.
