There were two hunters in front of me, ready to attack when I felt the strongest power I ever felt and stood frozen on my spot. At first I was terrified of my own safety and for not able to see my kids as the two hunters continue to lunge at me. They were in mid-attack when they froze on their spot.

I can sense my pack's fear and finally realise that no one was moving or making a sound. I look over my wolf's shoulder and notice Cherry, standing in front of Alex. I squints my eyes at Alex's body and realise that he was not breathing and quickly pieces things together.

Cherry is emotion at the moment is not stable due to her pregnancy and everything can trigger her. I knew she was a ticking bomb but I never knew she was this dangerous. Brian stood behind her, stunt by the looks of it.

A noise on our felt made her focus on that direction and I knew whoever it was just made the biggest mistake. Cherry began to recite ancient words, words that were foreign to my ears but I knew whatever she was reciting wasn't good.

Brian! Try and calm her down! NOW! I order and I watch Brian struggle to move and even talk but I can feel him trying to access her through the mind link but she wasn't letting anyone in.

The hunters scream in pain and their expression show how much they were hurting. As much as I want to kill them, this torture wasn't right. A quick death was before than what Cherry is doing right now.

If I didn't know Cherry well, I would say she had gone mad but I knew her like I knew the back of my hand. She's grieving and hurting. She wanted to blame someone for the dead of Alex and all she could point finger to is the hunters but I knew she blame herself more than she blame the hunters.

Everyone do something before she does something she'll regret later! Everyone soon try their best to get through to her but all was in vain. The hunters continue to scream and scream. Their voice getting louder by every word she said.

When I thought we couldn't do anything, a voice broke through the loud screams. "Cherry! Control yourself!" Mr Hemmings said as he walks to the battlefield. Cherry did stop but only to send a murderous glare to her own father. "Killing all of them in pain won't bring Alex back, you know that right my child?"

"But it hurts! It hurt so much!" Cherry yelled. "They must die! This is their entire fault!" She glares back at the hunter, who all shakes in fear. "Our ancestor took care of them but they betrayed us because of their selfishness and jealousy. That's why they must suffer like how their prey suffers!"

"But we are not like this savage people." Mr Hemmings said as he walks to Cherry's side. "We are merciful and offer quick death for them because we don't stand as low as them. We kill to protect the one we love and care for while they kill because they let their mind is corrupted by lies"

"But dad they..." Cherry was cut off when her father looked at her with disappointment.

"You are pregnant Cherry. You can't think clearly because your emotion is tied to your baby and the baby of yours is angry for the death of his or her father." Mr Hemmings said. "The child might not be whole yet but it is aware of things around us through you. Don't let your child control you or that child will grow out of control."

Cherry looked down on her stomach and place a bloody hand over it and slowly, she took deep breathes. She rubs her stomach and mumbles now and again that things will be alright.

When Cherry seems to fully calm down, Mr Hemmings looked around and said, "Realise the pack Cherry but not the hunters." Beside me I saw the hunters tense up and look at Mr Hemmings and Cherry with soo much fear that even I fear for their fate.

Cherry recite a few more ancient words before I felt the weight around me moments ago, lifted. I was able to move my body and quickly look around and notice all the pack's member present was all stretching.

I don't want anyone to know what happen here, do I make myself clear? I ordered through the mind link. Everyone reply telling me that they understand and I know some of them knew that I did it for the safety of Cherry.

Mr Hemmings looks at me with a smile and for some reason I knew he knew what I just ordered everyone to do.
