EPILOGUE

Finally, a completed story that I wrote.

Sobrang saya ko sa aking nalaman. I'm pregnant, I will have a baby now! Babae kaya? O lalaki? Sino ang magiging kamukha nito?

Sunod-sunod ang tawag ni Rafael pero hindi ko ito sinagot kahit sandali, I'm planning on surprising them. If my father's operation is successful which is I'm sure that it's successful. I'm planning on going home to the philippines.

Sasabihin ko ba kay Dad na buntis ako? He also want this. Paano pag nagtanong siya kung sinong ama at sabihing magpakasal na? What will I say?

Fuck, may problema nanaman ako. How can I say it to Dad? Lalo na sa sitwasyon niya ngayon na mahina ang puso niya. Paano ko sasabihin ito sa kaniya nang hindi siya magugulat at mas masama ay atakehin ulit?

I groaned and shut my eyes tight. I want a mango. No, my baby wants a mango.

The day has come and my Dad will now undergo a surgery for his heart. Kahit kinakabahan ay pinakita ko sa kaniyang okay lang at maging matatag siya.

"Dad, don't be nervous, ano ka ba!" I glared at Dad who looks constipated.

He let out an hearty laugh pero agad din siyang napahawak sa puso niya.

"I'm not nervous, princess. You're the one who's nervous here. Look at your hands, it's shaking so much." Tiningnan niya ang kamay ko.

Agad akong napatingin sa kamay ko at nakitang nanginginig nga ito. Itinago ko ito sa aking likod at huminga nang malalim.

I'm not planning to say it to Dad this early but I have to cheer him up so the surgery is successful.

"Dad... If your surgery is successful at maging malakas ka ulit, may sasabihin po akong ikakatuwa niyo."

Nanlaki naman ang mata niya pero tumaas ang isang kilay.

"Magpapakasal ka na?" He guessed.

I chuckled and bit my lowerlip. Maybe.

"It's secret for now, you can know it if your operation is successful, okay?" Hinaplos ko ang pisngi niya.

Lumambot naman ang mga mata niya at kalaunan ay pumikit sa haplos ko. When he opened it again I noticed that it's bloodshot now.

Seeing Dad like this breaks me a lot. Nagsimulang mamuo ang luha sa aking mga mata. I'm not usually emotional but I'm crying now. Maybe because I'm pregnant.

"Did you know, Amary..." Dad sighed heavily and looked at the ceiling.

Mas hinaplos ko ang pisngi niya at kinagat ang aking labi para pigilan ang nagbabadyang luha sa aking mga mata.

"I always dreamt about your Mom. She's smiling widely at me like how she is when we're together..." Nanginig ang boses niya.

Tuluyan namang tumulo ang luha ko sa pag kuwento niya. My Dad is really the best husband and father.

"Napanaginipan ko rin noong nililigawan ko pa siya." Tumingin siya sa akin at ngumiti ng malungkot.

"She really looks like you, Amary. The only difference is she's calm and quiet while you're jolly and naughty." He smiled at me.

"I know Dad, siguro namana ko sa inyo ang pagiging makulit ko." I chuckled and he nodded.

"That's true." Tumango siya.
