"They're all gone, Jeff", I whisper as we're back in our hotel room and I let myself slide down at the door, "Scott, gone. Bryce, gone. Monty.. god I miss him so much. I just want him to be here and tell me that he'd beat him up." Jeff obviously doesn't know what to say but he kneels down to me and pulls me into a tight hug letting me cry against his shoulder. 

"I miss the old times, too", he whispers and I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one, "You don't deserve this, baby." "None of them did", I cry again remembering how Bryce and Monty were even taking care of me when they're dead. No matter how much it hurts, I can't forget about them.

"I can't believe he did that", I whisper still being shocked about the way that I found out, "He lied to me. I trusted him so much and he didn't even think about about being honest with me." "Come, lay down and rest your head on my shoulder. It hurts now but it'll be better soon. We're home in a few hours", Jeff calms me down and I thank him. I couldn't do this without him.

"I can't believe he did that", Monty appears in my dream sitting next to me on the plane. "Well, I can", Bryce shrugs, "We're all worse than people thought we would be." "Shut up, Bryce. Scotty was supposed to make Ellie happy." "Monty, I can do that myself", I tell him instead of freaking out. I've decided to be thankful for what I imagine or at least try to appreciate it. 

"I know you can. You're the strongest of us all." "You took care of all of us and you still do", Bryce adds looking thoughtful. "I didn't do anything. You guys helped me get through it all. Will being away, my drug issue, Jeff's accident, my family's history, grandpa dying.." "The greatest loss of all", Monty nods and they disappear once again.

"You should take a break, you know", Tony comes up to me while I'm at the gym and I give him a skeptical look. "When do you ever take a break?", I reply and he chuckles. "Yeah, right. What happened in Manhattan?" I laugh lightly remembering our last conversations. "Once again, relationship troubles. What about you?" 

"Family troubles", Tony nods. "If you need any legal help, I can ask my dad. He'd help you for sure." "Thanks, Liz. But I'd rather forget about my worries right now", Tony nods and I agree. "I'll give him your number and whenever he's got new information about your sister, I'll let you know." "Thanks, Liz, that means a lot", Tony smiles lightly and gives me a friendly hug before I get changed and head back home.

"No, I mean it's just crazy how that movie ends", I say to Jeff while we're walking through school together talking about the new movie. "I saw it coming", Jeff shrugs but furls his eyebrows when the school's alarm starts ringing and we look around skeptically. This is another test for when someone would attack this school. Without hesitating, Jeff pulls me into the men locker room with him and closes the door. 

"Do you have your phone here?", he whispers looking at me seriously. In comparison to him, I don't react quickly and have to process what's going on first. We're at school and there's a lockdown. It could be a test but it could also be for real. Regarding the fact that it's our school, a real lockdown seems realistic. What if someone finds us here and we get killed? "Ellie, look at me", Jeff says again, "Do you have your phone?" 

I slowly take my bag and find my phone in there nodding. "Text Will and your dad. Just in case..", Jeff mumbles and I nod once again. When I'm about to type a text, I remember someone else. "Estela", I whisper alarmed, "I have to look for Estela." I immediately get up and am about to open the door, but Jeff holds me back. "We can't, El. She'll be safe, but we need to stay here. I can't risk you getting hurt." 

"Jeff, I've promised Monty to take care of Estela as best as I can and I won't sit here breaking this promise", I make clear and glance at him seriously when he's about to hold me back. "I'll go with you then", he decides but I shake my head. "I've almost lost you once, I won't let this happen for a second time." "And you think I'd watch you go out there risking your life? I'm coming with you or we're not looking for her at all." "Fine."

"Estela?", I call for her when we go through the hallway and open door after door. It's quiet here so I assume that whoever might be here, is in the other part of the building. "Stel, it's Ellie and Jeff. If you're here give me a sign." "Are you sure she's even at school?", Jeff asks me after we've opened the twentieth door. "Pretty sure", I nod and open the door to the men's bathroom. Right now, I could care less if I'm allowed to be there or not. But once again, the room's empty. 

"Estela", I call for her once more and open the door to the girls' bathroom, "Fuck where is she." "Ellie?", I suddenly hear her voice and sigh relieved. "Yes, is that you, Ellie?" "It's us. Ellie and Jeff", Jeff says softly and I see two doors opening. Estela and Tyler are here. "There you are", I sigh relieved when I see Estela in the girls' bathroom. 

I quickly go over to hug her tightly. I wouldn't forgive myself if something happened to her. I took care of her and Monty, now I take care of her only. "Ellie", she calls relieved as well and I throws herself into my arms, "I'm so glad you're here." "Of course, E. Have you been here together all the time?", I ask turning around to look from Estela to Tyler and back to her. Tyler nods slowly and I smile at him. "Thanks for being here with her", I whisper thankful, "Hiding in the toilets was smart." 

"How did you end up here?", Jeff asks Tyler friendly but confused as it's the girls' bathroom. "I just opened the first door that I could find." "Have you texted your mom?", I ask Estela remembering that they asked her to do so as soon as another lockdown is happening. "Yes, right at the beginning." "Good then go back hiding in the toilets. Jeff and I stay here just in case someone comes in", I decide and Tyler and her go back whereas Jeff sits down with me next to the washbasins. "I hate you for making me so nervous of losing you, you know", Jeff whispers so only I could hear it. "You'd never lose me, J."
