"Hey", Jeff welcomes the girl in his house, "Thanks for coming, Els." "Of course", she smiles hugging him, then walks in. After he woke up, the doctors said he could feel blessed that he had no bad damage. Of course he couldn't continue playing baseball immediately so the others and Liz started by teaching him the topics he had missed. And today, it her my turn to visit him.

"I have to talk to you before we start", I sighed seriously. She's thought about Scott and her a lot recently. If she ever wanted to give them a try, Jeff would have to know about it. "What about? Do you want to finally confess your love for me?", he smiles charmingly, takes her by my hand. This is going into the complete wrong direction.

"Actually-" "Oh, Liz, you're here. You're holding hands, are you-" "Monica, give them space", Harris, Jeffs' dad, interrupts his wife. They came downstairs all dressed up elegantly. Before Liz could explain the situation or ask where they were about to go, she got an answer.

"I'm just so excited to see you together, you've always been perfect for each other", his mom fancies still looking at their hands, "We're going to have dinner at a restaurant for our anniversary. You should join us."

"Thank you for the offer, Monica. But it's your day so enjoy it", Liz smiles politely  hugging her before they left the house. "Sorry for my mom", Jeff scratches his neck but still comes closer to her, "But she's right."

"Jeff, I-", she stops thinking about what she could say, he is so damn close to her, "I wanted to tell you something." "Tell me later", and with that he pulls her closer to him, presses his lips onto hers and one thing leads to the other.

Even on the same evening, Scott had texted her to ask for a date. And of course, she didn't deny it. Because she couldn't say no and she couldn't be honest. Lying was just too easy. Until one week later he asks her to be his girlfriend. Scott had asked her to come over to his house and when she arrives, there are roses on the driveway.

"Hey, it girl", he grins watching her stepping out of her car. "Hey, jock", I replied awkwardly not understanding the situation, „Did your mom find herself a boyfriend or what's going on here?" Scott shakes his head, "You can be really stupid, you know?" "Thanks, Scottland, I can only return that", she rolls her eyes, kisses his cheek and is about to walk in when he stops her by her wrist.

He pulls her closer to keep his arms around her, "I don't do that very often." "What?", she chuckles, „Studying?" "Asking you to be my girlfriend." He really doesn't do that often. In fact, it's his first time to ask a girl out. He was never interested enough to go that far. And Liz knows that. She takes a few seconds to think about if she understood it correctly. This isn't the usual way a jock would ask a girl out but it was unique, which she loves. He wanted to make something special for her. 

"I have to tell you something before that", she sighs regretfully knowing that it's time to be honest, "You may want to rethink your decision." Scott looks at her unknowingly and still so sweet. "I've told you that I could't tell Jeff what had happened because I wasn't ready for that change", she hates having to say this already, "But actually we hooked up. That's why I couldn't tell him. He stopped me before I was even ready."

Scott takes a step back, furls his eyebrows, "You hooked up? As in-" "Yes", she regrets. "Wow, uh.. I didn't expect that", Scott admits rubbing his temples. He knows how close they are and how hard it would be for her to talk to Jeff about them but he's still disappointed. He should have told Jeff together with her.

"I'm sorry, Scott. You've prepared all of this so lovely, I'm sorry that I told you right now. I've never expected you to ask me out." "Are you guys a couple again?" "No, I never meant it in that way. What happened was a mistake." "Can you leave for now? We should both think about everything."

"Lennox and Holland, that's the two I've been waiting for!", Bryce runs up to the girls, when they arrive at his party, some cars are already parked in front of his house. They had prepared a welcome back party for Jeff as soon as he told them he could come back to school.

"Where's the Whiskey Walker?", she chuckles after they hug each other tightly. "Already in the kitchen only waiting for you to open it. Next to your wine, Sheri", Bryce winks at them knowingly, "Hey, Els, are you alright?"

"Yeah, just let's not talk about Luke and his stupid comments", she mutters knowing that both Jeff and Scott were here. Luke is a jock who doesn't know when to stop. He made some comments about her and the boys during practice and she let it affect her. "What happened?"

"She fucked Jeff and Scott asked her to be his girlfriend", Sheri blurts out already drinking her first glass of wine. "I told Scott about it", Liz adds. "Oh man, Els.. I'm not going to say what Will would say but he knows what's right so do what he'd say", he shakes his head with a smile, "Just go to your boy."

"Hey", she sees Scott at the bar in Bryce's pool house where they store all of the alcohol, "How are you?" "Lennox.. hey.. Good. What about you?" "Actually, I've been thinking about what happened last Sunday. Can we talk about it?"

"Scotty, we're playing beer pong. Where are you?", Luke looks around and finds the teenager standing together, "Oh here you are." "I'm coming", Scott walks out. He could have at least say bye.. or not? Okay no, it's all my own fault, she thinks. 

"Yo Lennox, sorry if I ruined something or so. You know I didn't mean to have an impact on Reed and you." "It'd just be nice if you gossip about other random shit, not my love life."

"Did you talk to him finally?", Monty sits down next to her on the edge of the pool letting their legs hang in the water. "He's still mad and I understand that." "He's not mad, he's jealous, dumbass." "But he knows that there's nothing going on between Jeff and I anymore, right? Last time was a mistake which won't happen again." "Well, he thinks you and Jatkins are going to be a couple again", Monty shrugs his shoulders. "You know what? I'm going to do something about it, thanks", she grins being full of confidence for a moment.
