Justin’s Point of View:

After sorting through the mail, everything I came across was junk. All of it was mostly for Scooter, but that still falls into the same category. My fingers found their way over the plastic wrap that covered Lily’s issue for Cosmopolitan.

I stood there for awhile over examining every bit of detail. She’s going to freak when she see how beautiful she looks. I decided to make way up the stairs in search for her. Well this shouldn’t be hard since theirs over ten rooms located up here.

After knocking on the door. I heard a faint reply of. “Come in” To my best of look, she was in her room. As I let myself in, my eyes locked to Lily sitting on her bed with her head in a book. “What do you need Justin?” She questioned my present not once looking up at me. Which was good thing I suppose since should would snapped at me for checking her out.

“Look what came in the mail.” I replied, getting straight to the point while keeping the magazine hidden behind me. “What?” She asked, placing the book mark in between the page before sitting it down on table giving me her undivided attention.

I waved the magazine in front of her face. As I heard her gasped before she nearly took my hand off along with the magazine. I chuckled at her reaction. “How is this even possible? It was suppose to go up on news stands next week.” She replied breathlessly, before flipping through the pages eagerly.

“They’re probably giving you a first hand look and copy before it’s actually released to the public.”, I answered her question from personal experience. “I have to share this news with Scott.”, She replied, heading to the door. “Scooter just left not to long ago.” I said, as Lily’s shoulders slumped while she turned back around on her heels. I could tell she wasn’t happy with my reply. “Of course he did.”, Lily replied, tossing the magazine down on the bed before climbing back in to it.

“Look tell Scooter later, lets go out.”, I said, then quickly catching myself because it sounded like I was asking her on a date. That’s the last impression I wanted to make.

“As in friends of course. To celebrate your how good your issue came out.”, I covered up mishap with an innocent smile. “That’s kind of you Justin, but I rather sit at home and finish my book.”, She said, turning my offer down in the nicest way possible. I nodded. I was the close to touching the door knob when my thoughts got the best of me.

“You know what no. You’re not fine sitting here reading a book. Why won’t you admit it?” I said, not intending for it come out that loud. I took her by surprise. “Admit what Justin?”, She said, uncertain what to actually say. I took a sit next to her. “That you’re bored. You‘ve convinced your self that your satisfied with the same daily routine. Truth to be told you could seek a little more excitement.”, I replied, in a much lower tone this time. I heard her scuffed.

“I’m not bored Justin. You have only been leaving here for almost a week. How can you infer such a thing? My life is laced with every bit of excitement.” She said lying through her teeth. I could tell it was a lie by the way she rambled on. “I may have been leaving here for almost a week, but I can sure in the hell infer a lot of things. You stay in the house cooped up all day. The only time you’re out when you’re doing your morning run.” I said, trying to get my point across.

“See that’s when you’re wrong Mr. know it all. I happen to be busy every week. I barley have time to sit on my ass.” She replied getting into my face. It took off my power not to kiss her within this heated argument. I took one step back before I began to speak. “Only when Scooter has something arranged for the both of you. And most of the time you don’t even enjoy it.” I said, watching as the sun kissed color drain from her face. I must of hit a soft spot.
