Lily’s Point of View:

Scott was fully convinced that my health miraculously made a turn around once I spent the night cuddling in his arms. Which was fine by me, since I wouldn’t have to find an excuse to why I had a cold for a day. It also meant I was well enough to do whatever he had planned for the day. Oh the joy of not being sick.

Although it was his day off, I should be cherishing this moment. I waltz downstairs into the living room as I slithered my arms Scott’s neck, planting a kiss on his lips. “Someone’s in a good mood.” He commented, as I repeated the same gesture several times before taking a sit next to him. I shrugged.

“I just love when you’re at home. And besides I was thinking maybe we could go out.” I replied, letting my fingers creep up his left leg that was cover in dark denim. I do enjoy him wearing business attire, but seeing him in jeans was very rare to me.

“I’m glad you said something. I was thinking you, me, and Justin could go down to the art museum. I heard they added some fascinating pieces and plus you loved it so much when we went last time.” Of course I only said I loved it because I didn’t want to disappoint you. He peered up at me waiting for an response.

I truly wanted to suggest something else, but I couldn’t bring myself to say no. Instead I nodded happily. “Well go tell Justin about today’s plans while I get the car started up.” Scott patted my thigh lightly as he made his way out of the front door. I groaned into the couch pillow as I didn’t plan on spending my day being dragged around in a museum with ancient artifacts and paintings no one actually cared about. I convinced myself to get off the couch towards the stairs.

I placed a few light knocks on Justin’s door before I heard the response “It’s open.” As I twisted the door knob, I had no idea I expect to see this on the other end. I screeched as my hands flung over my eyes admittedly.

“Oh gosh. You could of warned me that you weren’t fully dressed.” I was embarrassed beyond belief. Luckily my hands covered up my flushed face. Hopefully it wasn’t to discreet that my fingers weren’t completely closed. I heard Justin laugh, so I assumed he wasn’t fazed by what just happened.

“It’s not a big deal Lily, you saw me in my swimming trunks last night.” Justin teased. I felt myself go red even more. Swimming trunks and boxers were two completely different things. Boxers surely didn’t cover up as much.

I was at relief when I heard the sound of his pants zipping up. “You can uncover your eyes now.” Justin said, placing a shirt over his head. To forget about this whole ordeal, I felt it was best I came out with I needed to say to begin with.

“The reason I came up here is because we’re going to the art museum.” I bit my lower lip as I failed to make eye contact with him. “Let me guess Scooter’s idea?” Justin said, having the same reaction as mine.

That makes two of us not wanting to go. “Yep.” I said, popping the p. “Don’t worry it’s not like we will be staying long anyway.” Justin said, as he surpassed me with a shyly grin. What was that suppose to mean? I wondered to myself as I followed behind him.

Justin’s Point of View:

My fist rested under my chin as I sat in the backseat watching all the interesting attractions we could be spending our day passed by. An art museum? That’s the best you can come up with Scooter. I don’t understand why and how Lily has been putting up with this. Don’t get me wrong, Scooter is like a second father to me.

I look up to him, but he can be so boring and self-centered. Sometimes I feel he’s in this relationship for himself. Perhaps he’s using Lily as someone he can make him look good.
