Justin’s Point of View

I scrunched up my nose in disgust as Scooter leaned down to kiss Lily goodbye. How could he possibly smoother her in kisses when he practically said he has no interest in her?

I played with edges of the table cloth debating whether or not to tell Lily about the sports bar incident. If I do she will see that I’m only looking out for her best interest or as a strategy that I’m using to get us closer together. The two of them are head and head. I mean why not do a good deed that I can benefit for?

Lily waited for door knob to click indicating that it was locked and sound of Scooter’s shoes clicking against the hard pavement steps to fade away. Turning onto her heels, she raised an eyebrow before coming towards my way.

Placing both hands on shoulders while swinging one leg over before plopping down onto my lap. I allowed my hands to roam freely to Lily’s hips pressing her down firmly, giving her no room nor a choice to move.

Her lips colliding into mine giving the same shiver down the spine feeling every time I lips met. Although, this time I could help, but shuttered when I realized Scooter’s lips were just on hers before mine. Ew man.

Before I had time to respond to the kiss, she began to take advantage of the position we were in by grinding her hips into mine. I grasped at the unexpected gesture as the thin material of my basketball shorts didn’t skip on preventing fiction.

A muffled laughed escaped from her lips, as she knew exactly what she was doing. Focus Justin, I couldn’t possibly do this now, well maybe just a little bit longer. I thrashed my head pleasure as I met her thrust.

“Lily I need to talk to you.” I managed to say as she was too busy concentrating on getting my shorts off.

“And I need you.” Lily whispered, slowly peeling back the waistband. I refused to move as she started grow frustrated.

“Okay what’s wrong.” She says irritated, arousing from her knees into the chair directly beside me.

There was no point in sugar coating the entire thing, so I decided to reveal the conversation between Scooter and I at the sports bar. By the time I was down, Lily’s whole persona had changed. She definitely wasn’t in mood anymore and it would be a inconsiderable time to ask.

“It may have been the beer talking -” Lily shot a hand up cutting off mid-sentence.

“Don’t take up him.” Lily said, placing lose peace of hair behind her ear.

“You know what they say about drunk people. They always seem to tell the truth.” Lily continued, slouching down into the chair. I already assumed that her mind was bottled up with confusion and questions she wanted answer too.

At this moment I couldn’t provide any of that, but the next best thing. I pulled her into a hug, surprisingly she didn’t push me away. I ran my hand up and down her back to soothe her.

“Talk to Scooter, I may of gotten his words mixed up. Don’t shut him out.” I cooed, into her ear as she nodded in agreement. I wanted to drag Scooter down, but at the same time I couldn’t.

As much I hate to admit it, but he was her happiness. Yeah I made Lily happy, but Scooter has the ability to do it with his clothes on. I had to face it that this would be nothing, but a no strings deal. Now matter how I feel.

Lily pulled back from the hug, standing to her feet wiping away the tears that was forming at the brim of eyes. I gave her a sad look, that she returned it by giving a look that only said don’t give her any sympathy.
