Finally, you've reached the end. Thank you for reading 'When it Rains'! This is my favorite one to write yet. It's much more mature than my previous stories, which became a challenge for me as a BL writer. Here are some interesting things behind this work:
1. I had a one-month hiatus as a writer, stopped some updates, and almost quit Wattpad in February 2022. I wasn't in my best mental state, doubted my writing, and constantly compared my work to others. Until, I was able to keep that negative and heavy energy and use it as the theme of a story I wanted to write. Then, I started to write the plot of When it Rains and eventually the first chapter as well.
2. I continued my writing process of this, one chapter at a time, with no pressure at all, while finishing my last months as a college freshman. Then, I was able to finish all 50 chapters in 5 months.
3. Actually, the last chapter should be Chapter 41. I decided to add more chapters (Chapters 42-50) before the set date for release.
4. It's my first time writing explicit chapters. Though I had one before (in I Bet You Think About Me), this had multiple chapters containing sex parts between the protagonists, which was very challenging for me.
5. Patrick was 25 and Flynn was 19 when they met. Flynn was the same age as mine when I was writing this. Meanwhile, I personally consider Patrick an ideal guy whom I'd like to date.
6. In Chapter 40, I was choosing who'd be the one to be almost killed by Alrey among Flynn, Patrick, and Tita Alice. Then, I decided it'd be Flynn.
7. There might be a change in the ending or an additional chapter. It might happen or not.
