Since that night, Kuya Alrey has been out of my sight. Parati siyang wala sa bahay, which I totally wouldn't care about much. I heard he traveled somewhere together with her fiancé.

While I was doing my homework, someone knocked on the door and went in. "Flynn, nak," Tita, calling me 'nak' again, but I didn't mind.

"Po?"

She gave a smile, which reminded me of my Mama.

Tita Alice sat on my bed near me. "Nak, kamusta ka?"

"Ah, okay lang po ako. Bakit po, Tita?"

"Just checking on you.

As she held my hand, I noticed a worried look on her face.

That was the reason why she looked worried. That holds me back from answering. I sighed, until I decided to shook my head, which I think she understood. Tita just gave a hug and said, "hindi ka namin ipipilit.

Don't worry about me. I can handle myself, " I told her.

She even suggested calling any relative who could accompany me here, but I insisted.

I just have to take care of this house while they're gone, lalo pa't sabi nila magtatagal raw sila ng isang linggo doon sa isla.

While I was cooking for my dinner, the doorbell suddenly rang. I wasn't expecting any guests, and things went tumbling in my mind. After a while, it rang once more.

I got the courage to go outside and figure out who was ringing the bell. Whoever they are, they're making me freak out at this hour—

"Hi!"

I screamed in terror and was about to strike the person who appeared behind me with my fist. He dodged it right away and burst out laughing. "Hey, hey, it's me, 'kay?"

"The hell are you doing here? Y-You freaked me out! And you're literally trespassing!"

"I'm not. They called me to fetch you, actually. Didn't they tell you?"

I tried to push him towards the door, but I couldn't. Parang nakadikit ang paa niya sa lupa. "I won't leave you alone here."

"Hindi ko kailangan ng bodyguard, Mr. Villamore."

"Stop holding my chest. It turns me on."

My jaw dropped. It took me a second to get off my hands and onto him. "Excuse me?!—"

A phone rang in the middle of our confrontation with this guy. He purposely put the call on speakers, enough for me to hear their conversation until I recognized Tita's voice on the other end of the line. "Yes, Auntie. He's safe.

"Please tell him. Nag-aalala ako sa kanya," Tita said through his phone.

"I will, Auntie."

The call ended, and he turned to me again. "You heard her right?"

"But—"

"No, buts.

"Well, I'm referring to what you said earlier."

"About my chest?" he grinned. "Just kidding, though... but if you like it, I let you," and he winked.

Gross. Before I get enraged with this guy, I got myself together. I'm not sure what he's up to, but I need to stay on my toes. He might be using Tita para makapunta dito. He's very suspish.

Pinapasok ko siya sa bahay, as if I had another choice. Tita's telling me to go with Patrick para maging kampante sila sa akin.

"The hell, water!" sabi pa niya.

"Sh*t, what did you give me?

"You, pyschopath!" tawag niya sa akin.

"Then leave. If you don't want to live with a psychopath like me, go back home. I told you, I can handle myself. Stop meddling in my life."

"No."

"Bitawan mo 'ko," I warned him, but his grip on my arm tightened.

Our eyes were fixated on each other, seeing how mad he was at that moment. "No one has ever tricked me except you."

"Should I feel honored for it?"
